I used this product on a pair of older leather sofas. We have used a number of different cleaners/conditioners/restorers on these over the years and this was easier to use than any other...spray it on and wipe it off. I have used a variety of products over the years, and dealt with the "too thin", "too thick", "too goopy", etcetera products. To be fair, different applications require different products, especially in older vehicles needing to be brought back from years of abuse. With that said, I use this product on newer classics - my M5. M Roadster, and even my Infinity QX50 (okay - not so classic). It goes on lightly and smoothly, and will soak into the leather, allowing an additional coating if required. It keeps the leather supple, and does not leave a greasy film … or any film for that matter. Simply buff with a micro-fiber cloth when you are done.
My wife's Cadillac has a light colored leather interior which the seat easily get a nice blue hoe to it from wearing jeans in the car. I'm talking jeans that are a few years old and have been washed many times. I try to use household cleaners such as 409 and fantastic and it didn't even try to take the blue out. I used this bottle of 303 leather cleaner and protector and Walla! The blue stuff came right out of the seat leather.
EASY ON, EASY OFF. THIS CAR HAD NEVER HAD THE LEATHERCLEANED.

I have tried a ton of different leather cleaners/treatments over the years- both two-step products & all-in-ones. While this is not necessarily as thorough & deep of a conditioning as the two-step products, it's absolutely wonderful for use between major conditioning. This product cleaned very well, and left the leather feeling clean & not greasy at all. The smell is the best of any product I've used... it's great. I used this on my wife's car- a 2010 Saturn Outlook XR- which was a huge gamble as she HATES all the leather cleaners & accepts it when I do it only because she understands the need to keep the leather healthy. She had no issues with this product- either the finished feel of the leather or the smell. She was quite happy. I wouldn't hesitate to use this product often; much easier than the two-step products & isn't slimy and doesn't have an odd smell. Be careful with the sprayer settings- I didn't realize there were two types. There's a harder, more focused stream setting that I made the mistake of using first; it puts out way too much product & splatters all over. Use the opposite one, which is more of a misting. I have used other leather cleaners that don't work as well as this. I somehow had some grease rubbed into my spare leather seats and I have tried 3 other products on the get it out. This is the only leather product that removed those stains. Not greasing and doesn't have a strong odor either. Good all around product. I am mildly concerned with the statement that says the product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects. I would love to use this on all my leather, but with my wife and possible kids, I am very reluctant. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
If you don't know by know most car leather is treated with Vinyl (plastic) and is not true leather to prolong the life of the car seat. Buying "leather" car seat treatment is pointless as you are not able to "condition" the leather. This product does a good job of cleaning and renewing the leather/vinyl in car seats. It can also be used on interior trim pieces.
