I've used Gold Eagle 303 Products for many years. From their car maintenance products to general use household products. I purchased recently the Marine Fabric Guard which I've used on Tent Flys to boots. I'm going too use it now on my Air Force Fabric Cold Weather Boots to spray the Upper Fabric part of the boots too make them Splash Proof, too protect the fabric from snow and The bottoms are already rubber but the tops are fabric so I wanted to add an extra layer of protection against moisture and this Gold Eagle 303 Fabric Guard does just that exceptionally well - Not waterproof (I still want the upper part of the boots too breath) that this product doesn't do - Just splash proof.
I have a 1992 Saab 900T convertible. It was perfect til I spent a little over 2 years in Georgia. The last year there 2016 Augusta set a record for highest temperatures recorded. We had 19 days of 95 degs and 4 days with temps at 104. Needless to say that wasn't good for my rag top. Started using it while there and still have to use now. It works, don't know for how long. Can't find anyone who will tackle replacing it. To expensive anyhow, for a 28 yr old.
I appled this product after using the 303 cleaner, I protected the paint & then sprayed the product in one direction & then the other. I let the product dry & after it looked like the Vinyl roof was new again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I used the 303 water repellent on my 4 year old Sunbrella boat cover after I noticed no longer was water repellent. It's in good shape, so after cleaning it and letting it dry throughly, I applied the product while off the boat. To apply uniformly, I used a garden type pressure sprayer. After drying, I tested the repellent properties. Water just beads up and runs off. The color returned to its navy blue color, or maybe slightly darker. Time will tell as to how long it will stay water repellent.
This stuff works great. We treated a canvas tent and it lasted( stayed dry inside for 5 years) it started leaking a little again this year, so we are treating it again. Will definitely continue to use this.
The 303 Fabric Guard did what I was hoping for. My outdoor Sunbrella covered patio cushions.had lost their ability to repel water after cleaning the cushions a few times. After spraying the cushions outside following the directions, I brought them inside to dry overnight. Now, rain water rolls right off. I think if I spray the cushions once per year, it will help the staining I get from the elements.
I have used this product for years on my boat cover and outdoor furniture. It great for repelling water on cover and stains on the furniture. Walmart has been one of the best sources for a fair price on 303 products for a couple seasons now and don't need to be prime to get Free Shipping.
Wow! I’m 67 yo grandmother & I cleaned & treated my top with this with ease, ‘05 Mustang. Bought the kit, Cleaner & Fabric Guard, & 1 extra bottle of the Guard bc some said not enough. Because it’s breezy, don’t want overspray, I used 4” & 1” paintbrushes, 3 coats, & still have some left in the first bottle. Cleaned, dried, applied Fabric Guard in carport, then dried ea coat in the sun abt 2 hrs, 3 days sunny weather, let it cure for an extra day. Rinsed pollen off this morning-first wetting. Very well pleased. Looks new. Not a chore at all, enjoyed doing it.
Been using 303 Fabric Guard for over 10 years and it is recommended by Sunbrella and I have used it on marine canvas, bimini tops, convertible tops, awnings, and all outdoor and indoor fabrics. This is the best protection for the money.
This is a high quality product made specifically for SunBrella fabrics.
