After a long road trip the front of my white car was black with bugs. After washing the car the next day, I noticed that the front was still loaded with bugs. 2 days later I tried a bug remover that was in my garage and it did absolutely nothing. I went out and bought a bug sponge and Turtle Wax Power Foam Bug &Tar Remover. I usedit according to the instructions and was able to remove all traces of the problem. Finally, something that does what it says it will do!!!
Parked my black CTS under a Pine tree - came back to mess ! Pine spots over half the hood, top and left fender/door. Tried to wash and used wax to get the spots off. Tried the power Foam Bug and Tar. Sprayed it on, waited 3 minutes and wiped ALL the Pine spots off with no effort ! GREAT PRODUCT ! That simply works !!!!!!
i purchased this product a few weeks ago and i have to tell you im so impressed . They have paved the roads on my way to work and i get tar all over my new truck but i don't even worry now i spray some on and it get's all the tar right off . The bug's are bad at night coming home along the river but no problem for this remover. I can't wait to try more of your product's.
I used this on a car that had been neglected and had had tree tar all over it all summer, baked on. I was skeptical that this would work but it worked completely and easily. The spray foam was very easy to apply. I rinsed the car and let it dry first, then applied the foam, then sponged it off. One can did the whole badly covered car.
It does its job. I used dryer sheet to wipe it off.
I tried this on bugs that have been stuck on for 2 weeks and it removed them with ease. I just let it soak a little bit longer and it did exactly what it said it would! Even on tar fresh or old just reapply as needed and it will do the job perfectly!
Last year I bought the spray bottle bug and tar remover and it worked great, this year I decided to try the spray foam version, the spray foam does not work at all. I returned it and got the spray bottle again, but even the spray bottle is different. It worked but not as good as last years product.
I frequently use the spray bottle of the Bug and Tar Remover to quickly get the sap drippings off my car. However when the store was out of the spray bottle but had the Power Foam Bug and Tar Remover, I bought it assuming the results would be similar. However, I was very disappointed that the spray foam did not dissolve the sap like the spray bottle form. I scrubbed and scrubbed and finally gave up and found another store with the spray bottle form. The spray bottle did the trick with quick spray on, dissolve, and wipe off. Not sure how the Power Foam does on Bug and Tar spots. But for the sap, the Power Foam did nothing. Will return the unused bottles I bought.
