VALUED PRICED. HAD FIRST SET FOR MANY YEARS. LIKE THE PRODUCT, WHEN THIS ONE WEARS OUT, WILL BUY ANOTHER. GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE...FOR THOSE WHO TRAVEL A LOT, AND DON'T WANT TO BUY EXPENSIVE LUGGAGE..
I purchased and used this for my latest trip and I really loved it! The quality of material and wheels etc are good for domestic as well as international travel. The 19" wheeled upright is perfect carry-on for business trips. It's not expandable; but along with the small pouch that comes with this set, it provides good space for personal travel as well. The 23" long wheeled duffel bag has almost twice the space of 19" upright. Good thing was that I could take it as carry-on bag for my personal travel. It fits well width-wise as well as length-wise in the overhead luggage bin in the flight. The 25" upright can only be used as check-in and is expandable as well. It has double the space of duffel bag. I felt this was the best deal I could get in terms of price, quality and usability!!!
I am very satisfied with what I ordered. The fact that this is American Tourister is a big plus. The price was incredible and I would order this product again in a heartbeat. Being able to pick up the merchandise within a 4 hour period was also a big plus in my book. Thank Walmart!!
American Tourister has been around for a long time. I bought this set in a pinch. So far I am very pleased with my purchase. For the price you cannot get a better set. I am using the large bag for my current trip, I am away for a month and was able to bring all I needed in just the one suitcase.
The biggest piece of luggage in this set was big enough to hold a one night and day outfit for two adults and a 6 year old boy and 4 month old girl (was a lot of clothing changes for her). There was still room to put lots of other stuff. We bought this set because we are a four member family and my husband and I could share a bag and the kids could have their own but when we got it we realized how big the pieces were. We'll use them all eventually. This was an awesome price for the luggage set and hugely sturdy and durable.
We needed luggage for our vacation and bought this sight unseen online to pick up that night; due to we were leaving in the morning to our desination. Our old luggage zippers broke last minute, sigh. I picked up our New American Tourister 4-Piece Luggage Set, Navy and to my surprise, it was very Sturdy n Nice! We were able to fit all our belonging in there and still have room for more. Which came in handy since we did some shopping on vacation and used that extra space in our New Luggage...Thanks Walmart!
Yes, this is a $70 set of luggage. Can you expect extended resilience in the face of repeated travel? No. Can you let your two year old use them as make believe accessories? No. You CAN however pack your clothes, toiletries, and whatever else you need, load it into your car, drive to the airport and travel without too much of an issue.
Ok, let me start by saying this only costed $64.00. That being said the luggage served it's purpose well. My nice big suitcase is falling apart and I didn't have a lot of money to spend on a new set yet. This one made it and back with no issues. Now do I think it is well made and can take a lot of banging around, no. I have paid for much nicer and I bet these last just as long. I was able to fit my 15 in laptop in the carry on shoulder bag and used as a diaper bag(which was extra with no charge) it most likely saw the most banging around and it's in still in one piece. My husband is a truck driver in the oilfield and he is taking the duffle bag. We normally wouldn't buy on with wheels for him, but since it's in the set and I won't use it. He now has an extra bag. He goes through them at a rate of 3x a year. This set worked out great for us, but I needed something fast and I don't travel much.
It was ok for the price,but I expected more because of the name only. American Tourister has been around for many year, and because of this, I expected a better constructed piece of luggage. The back of the luggage is the outside fabric and the inside is linning, and the way airlines handle your luggage now a days, any thing sharp will cause damage.Do not overload it will fall over. If you use them for light travel a few times a year, these pieces will be fine.
While I did not expect millions of miles from this set, I did expect it to last more than 2 trips. American Tourister brags on being "gorilla tough" after all. On my second trip the piping tore free from the fabric on the back of the largest case. Spend a little more and get something that will hold up. This wont.
