We love this luggage, so we ordered a second set. We travel frequently and the pieces have held up well. They have smooth swivel wheels and they store easily since they nest. We also like bright colors so that our luggage is easy to locate and this fits the bill on that account as well.
So far the luggage has been great. It's easy to roll in all directions, and the color makes it easy to spot (I got orange). The airline got it dirty right away but I figured that would happen. So far so good we'll see how it holds up after a few more vacations.
I love it but I have to keep it open to air it out it smelled pretty bad but its getting better after airing it out for a week
I have purchased American Tourister all my life with a few exceptions. I always come back to the brand that stands the test of time. I like the color options now days, it helps distinguish my luggage among the thousands of other black luggage on the carousel.
I have bought several brands to try them and the only ones that really have lasted and really endured the handling at international flights are these American Tourister suitcases.
I love American Tourister! My first set was about 9 years ago as a gift from my mom. It is super durable, compact and stylish.Ive seen some suitcase sets that are just ugly and big. I decided to update my set for a newer look. Its a better look, quality is great. The only thing I didn't like is that the haul handle quality is not as good as my previous set; seems to be made from a lighter, cheaper material and not strong enough for the weight being pulled. I'm interested to see how long it will last.
Let me start out by saying I am giving this a 4 star only because I haven't used it yet. However, after much research this luggage got excellent ratings in its price category. My husband and I both needed to replace our heavily used 10 year old Samsonite luggage (broken leg on roller bag and broken top handle on other bag). Since our last major luggage purchase, we have gotten carry-on spinners. We love them. So, we knew we wanted to replace our large bags with new spinner luggage. Also, love the fact that we got colored bags that won't blend in with all the black bags. These bags seem very sturdy and the spinners glide. We will be using the luggage in a few short weeks and feel we have the perfect bags to take on our Alaskan cruise. The price was great for the 3 piece set so instead of buying each of the two large bags individually, we opted for the set since the carry on was basically free. Can't beat that! Plus this luggage stores within itself so it doesn't take up any more space than my original large Samsonite did. Thank you for the quick service and terrific price Jet.com. LOVE this set and such a great price. Just wish I was smarter and sprayed it with something 1st so it would not have stained. 1st time using it and seeing it on the belt with black marks all over them, kinda broke my heart. The orange was picked to have a little piece of my dad with me when we travel. I tried cleaning them when I went home but no use. so word to wise spray them before a 1st time use. They have LOTS of room and lots of outside pockets which is a much for me. VERY light weight and the wheels are great.
Was great capacity. Wanted new "spinner" wheels and it worked good. Liked that they "nested" Disappointed how dirty and smudged it became after just one airline trip. Going to try and scotch-guard to see if it helps. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The smallest is a few inches too big for a carry on and the largest one is heavy to start. If you fill up the largest one it is considered overweight for most airlines. My luggage packing the exact same things has never even been close to over weight and with this bag it was. First trip and I already regret purchasing.
