I was hesitant but my 5yr old insisted her little brother would love it for trips to relatives houses. Comes with a ladder truck and my son has a whole fire fleet. He is envious of his big sis's backpack and LOVES this. Is perfect to take to relatives houses that don't have kids when I don't want to bring a ton of toys. All in all - my daughter was right, perfect for her 3 yr old brother who loves to pretend play fireman.
Good for carrying small items for toddlers such as training pants and snacks, but not much more (especially because you have to take it all out to play). Provides small area for activity while on the go. The firetruck is cool because the ladder goes up and down, but the scene could use more "road" to drive it on, or a "fireman" figurine to put out the fire.
I purchased this bag for my Grandson who is going into the second grade. The design is perfect as he is in a "firefighter" stage these days. The bag is adorable and he loves it, but it cannot hold folders, homework, or school supplies. We had to purchase a REAL school bag in addition to this one.
I purchased this little backpack for a gift. Unfortunately I'm not very happy with it, nor very pleased giving it to someone. The quality of the material is very inferior. For the price, I would have expected an average quality fabric.....and it is not. I wish there were other reviews prior to my purchase, as I do check others' reviews and opinions.
