I purchased this Dish Taligater to replace my old Tailgater. The old one failed after many years of service and I expect to get good service from this unit as well.
Worked as advertised had some pretty good rain and only went off for like five minutes and it rained and stormed awhile
I decided to pass on the other tailgater models due to the double output on this dish. Sports in front and Hallmark channel in the back So easy to set up. It's fully automatic.
Cannot get the receiver to hook up with the satellite so going to have to call someone out to fix it.
I just got off the phone with Dish network to get an estimate of how much the service is for this the telephone attendant said she had now idea of what I was talking about.
The antenna in this dish satellite is way too small to be useful in moderate rain. I have a Pathway X2, which has a much larger antenna and weather (moderate or heavy rain) doesn't affect the reception on the Pathway X2, On the Tailgater Pro 2, the signal is obliterated.
