Perfect for what it's designed to do... rinse out the sediment that settles in the bottom of the hot water tank. Attaches to a hose with no leaks. Easy to use on/off valve. Simple. Easy!
worked well. Cleaned out the water heater great.
Love the size and length of the wand, fits up into the drain on the campers hot water tank, able to flush tank much easier. Also like the on/ off switch on wand, start the water flush when I'm ready.
I found that I could pay for the item online, and it was shipped free to my local Walmart. When it arrived, I received an Email from Walmart alerting me to come pick it up. Very cool, and it was $1.50 cheaper than other RV stores.
Gets into all the nooks and corners pretty well. Easy to use and really cleans out the sediment and hardwater deposits in the water heater.
Works great on all hot water heaters. We live in an area with very hard water. The hot water heater needs to be flushed out every couple years and this is just what I was looking for.
Saw a fellow camper using this, so tried it ourselves. Does the job. Like the curved end to help you reach the corners and the on/off lever is useful. Good price and fast service from Walmart.
It was inexpensive but I didn't expect it to be plastic. Looks like metal in the picture. Haven't tried it yet - not sure it will be stiff enough that I can move it around inside the water heater tank.
The wand was split at the attachment point. The plastic is too cheap. But what I did was wrap the split with silicone tape. This allowed me to spin the wand while flushing the tank . Normal you would have to fight the hose to angle the wand. There's a patent there somewhere. Otherwise 2 stars for cheap materials.
Leaks and the base is broken. Won't buy again
