Got to use my bandit on my last trip and it worked as it was suppose to. Saved us from an unfitted nozzle, broke out with my bandit and saved the day! Thanks Bandit!
Love this water Bandit. Easy to use. Bought this b 4 r camping trip. And its a must have for rv owners.
Now able to connect a hose to ANY public water faucets with damaged threads. What once was disappointment has turned into satisfaction. Well worth the reasonable cost, and the material it is constructed from looks like it will be giving years of service. Well recommended to have on hand if you ever have the possibility of connection to a public water faucet.
I love this thing. Doesn't matter what condition the hose bib is in, just slip this on and it's good to go!
In the picture I thought (wishfully) there was the female end so I was somewhat disappointed but it will work for my application I just need to find an adaptor for the hose. Good price and quality. It is not very big, 2 1/2', 3' total. I'm glad I got it. I have two of them.
This is an ingenious solution to situations when you need to fill the water tank on your RV, and there are either no threads on the available water spigot, or the threads have been damaged. Allows you to resolve the situation to your advantage. Hopefully, this will never happen, but, due to the small size and modest price, it is something that every RV owner should add to their necessary supply list.
This little hose attachment has been a lifesaver. I bought one based on a recommendation in a camping post thinking "someday" we might encounter a situation that required it. My guy said we would probably never use it. That same camping season, we had to use it two times when filling the fresh water tank of our camper. Last trip, the hose at the dump station for non-potable water was cut off, so no threads. My guy grabbed the water bandit and polluted it with non-potable water. Ordered another and marked it using a waterproof sharpie with a big "P" for potable water.
Some public campgrounds have pressurized water systems designed only to fill small containers held under the outlet and are not equipped with "hose connector" style faucets. That make it nearly impossible to fill your RV's fresh water tank, but this handy device solves the problem. It slips onto unthreaded outlets and allows you to connect your threaded water hose. It's not perfect (it came apart the first time I used it and it generally has to be held in place), but it's invaluable. Every RV should have one -- just in case.
It WORKS .. Don't crank the pressure all the way up and it will stay on. Used at the forest service campsite to fill up tanks on toyhauler..
Meant only for round faucets? Even with clamps does not work with threadless flat kitchen sink faucets...the clamps can't keep the rubber from springing small pinhole leaks and balloning causing the whole thing to slip off the faucet unless the water is kept to just a trickle. Waste of $7...Hopefully the other type adapter will not waste another $7?
