Difficult to tell texture of throw from photo on website, but it turned out to be even softer than what I thought I was ordering. A very pleasant surprise. Bought this for grandson who likes a soft blanket to finger while lying on the floor watching TV. (19 months old) He LOVED it! I do too & wish they came in larger sizes - like twin bed size. They're great to cover up with on cold Winter nights... The photo shows a darker blue color but the actual product was more a slate blue, which I liked even better than the dark blue. Very pleased and would definitely recommend.
Soft blanket and very nice to wash..
