[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our very old mechanical scale and decided to go high tech get this Withings - Body Cardio - Heart Health & Body Composition Wi-Fi Smart Scale. I have to admit that at first, I was very reluctant to get it and wondered if all the features would be useful and I was also not a huge fan of the rechargeable battery until I read that one single charge can last for months. Out of the box, I have to say that the scale is gorgeous. It is so much slimmer than our old scale and has a very nice LCD display that is easy to read. The scale has so many options that I have not yet used but the app that I installed on my phone is very straight forward and easy to use and I am looking forward to record all my measurements. When it comes to weight accuracy, I can say that it was very accurate when compared with my mechanical scale. All in all, this is a very classy and high tech looking scale that I really enjoy using. This new scale is definitely not your standard bathroom scale and it gets a perfect 5 stars rating from me.

It took a bit but I did eventually get it all 'connected' with the app. So this scale is great for someone who has a smartphone and can navigate the process. There are a lot of features on this scale and it is wonderful you can see it on your phone (or ipad or tablet, etc..). It does not sync up to my fitbit which is probably one downside. The steps it says I am taking is not actually correct. But very accurate with the weight. I really do love this scale and use it daily as does my husband. (he did like the old scale because it was off by 12 pounds-LOL!)

Aside from showing you how much you weigh. It tells you what your BMI is. As well as your Full Body Composition ( Fat Mass ,Muscle Mass, Total Body Water % ) .It even tells you ,your Standing Heart Rate with your Pulse Wave Velocity. What I am really liking about it aside from all the good information it gives. Is that When you Download the Free App. It keeps track of that information and shows your trends. I like having access to it. As well as other features within the App. that are just as helpful. It's very easy & convenient to use. For someone like me whose trying to lose weight it's great to see that progress. And to also see those areas that I may need to work on. What's also really nice is that you can have up to 8 users on this device. So other family members can setup their own profiles. The Battery is also Rechargeable for up to 1 year. Overall this is a really nice scale to have. It's an investment that keeps on giving. And something the whole family can use. The scale itself is nice and modern looking. And the quality is Excellent.

It connects to my fitness tracker so I can keep up with the rise and fall that is my weight and it also is able to calculate my heart rate which is pretty darn nifty. There are a lot of features that this scale includes and I am still discovering all it can do but I think that having a scale to tell me "hey, you are a bit overweight, let's stick to X number of calories today to keep you on track for some loss" is nice and helps me work towards my goals. The scale comes with a charging cable, is really sleek looking, and comes with a Withings health app to assist you with keeping track of your weight. This is the start of a new fitness journey for myself and my girlfriend and we are so pleased to have this scale. It's amazing! Let me tell you about it. Setup was extremely easy and we were both up and running within a few minutes. We each have our own profile and the scale knows exactly who is on the scale at any given moment. Using the Health Mate app which syncs to the scale makes it easy to use but fun as well as you can track everything from weight, BMI, Vascular Age, Heart Rate, Body Water and even temperature. How cool is that! As far as the design it is extremely modern and low profile. It is no more than an inch off the ground and can be easily hidden underneath a shelf or cabinet. Not sure why you would want to as it has amazing aesthetics and you will want to show this off to your guests. Overall this is a great accurate product which does exactly as desrcribed. If you want something that works, makes it fun to check your own weight and helps you on your fitness journey then this is the device to get. You will not be disappointed. The build of it is very well made, durable and should not wear out after a few years of use. This is rock solid so go out there and buy this scale, it will change your life for the better.

Overall, it was easy to set up if you are comfortable with simple technology BUT it was a bit of a headache to get it up and running - lots of firmware/software updates. Phone connectivity had been useful but more often I step in the scale to weigh and rarely use the other features. We've found the scale to be surprisingly sturdy and I have no worries it will break or crack. So, if you are tech adverse and just want basic information avoid this scale - otherwise it is an excellent addition to any weight maintenance or fitness journey.
