This futon was the perfect fit for a very small room that was too small for a day bed. I needed something for my 5'5" 12 year old daughter to sleep on at my dad's house. It's long enough, but smaller than a twin size mattress so I am anticipating sheets will be difficult. The mattress is ok for sitting but too hard for sleeping. I bought a 2.5" twin memory foam mattress cover and its is super comfy. I have to trim it on the sides. The futon mattress is as long as a twin but about six inches narrower. It fold up to a cozy and roomy chair. It was pretty easy to set up too.
When it came in it said it was a junior. It did not say anything about a junior size when I bought it.
