i needed a cheap install kit for a complete custom stereo install for my 01 mustang. while this will fit a double din, 2 single dins or a single din . i modded it to fit a single din stereo and a 1/2 din eq. was the only kit around that i could do this with. it fits mustangs if you want a good looking kit if you don't have a trim ring for your deck since it doesn't require one . the stereo slips in behind the ring so it looks like a clean install.
Had to modify the kit a little bit - The installed radio looks like it came out of the factory. I am very happy with this purchase.

Worked and fit excellent. If you have to trim factory ring do it a ltitle at a time fir a better fit.

The kit was very easy to use and the instructions were very easy to follow. I had to trim off some parts of the mounting pieces to get them into the stereo opening but that is expected with a universal kit. If you are installing an aftermarket stereo I would pick up one of these, it will make things a lot easier. I would recommend this product to anyone.
I ordered for a ranger. Come to find out it's not made for a single din radio for the year ranger I have. It didn't say anything about that in the description.
I ordered a dash mount kit along with an in dash stereo all for a 2004 Chevy Silverado truck so of course they sent a kit for Ford trucks - guess good help is getting harder to find in these days after the pandemic! But I wish I were surprised but I'm not in the least.Now it will take 2 weeks at least to get credited( refunded) the money and order the correct dash kit in.
