I have had my camera about two years now. I have to order one because some one broke into my truck and stole it with my fuzz buster. Worked perfect from day one!! Love the long cord so I could hid it!
Great quality video even at night
Very clear video. Does not take up a great deal of room on windshield. Starts very quickly when power is turned on. Give you stop light and stop sign warnings. battery life is terrible. automatically starts recording in 5 minute intervals.
The fact that it has to be mounted high up on the windshield and it requires a power cable means there is a cord running from below your dash to the camera. It can make for a distracting view unless you have a long cable to mount and run along the edges of your dash, frame and windshield. Now I understand why they didn't show any pictures of it mounted on a car.
My GoSafe 535 died a week after I got it. Communicating with PAPAGO customer service was fine....I had to send the unit back at my cost. After a week of not hearing anything from the customer service folks, I pinged them about my camera. The customer service rep said the volume of repairs was more than anticipated and that my camera would be serviced as soon as possible. How about a new camera vs. making me wait for my defective one to get repaired? Do yourself a favor...avoid this company.
The dash Cam died in California heat within 4 months of buying. The unit would keeps restarting, flickering and the display says "recovering". When contacted the customer care via email (as they ask us to do on their website) they responded after 3 days asking me to try formatting the SD card. I told them I had already tried it and then they never reverted back. I sent reminder as well and so far no success. I am going to stick with Garmin for now on (no matter how pain full it is to conceal- install the wire for that one). Never again PAPAGO!
