The headlight bulb went out, so I bought these to replace both (I always recommended a double pack to replace both)! Works great, simple to install depending on your car. Bright, but not too bright as to blind another motorist, and renewed nighttime visibility for easy driving in the evening.
I used to get these at the auto stores, ...wow was I getting ripped off! From now on I'm checking Walmart before going to the auto stores. These work great in my wives 2010 Toyota Prius, the factory lights lasted 6 years, we shall see how these do. I have found that the really bright bulbs do not last long, so I just get the middle of the road ones. I personally don't like the blue white light, especially when they are in your eyes. The warmer light does the job fine and is more pleasing to the eye, and last longer.
Theses are brighter than stock oem almost identical only difference i found was less glue in bulb its self shouldn't make a difference though. Thanks Walmart got them next day and it was safe and secure. Only 16 $better than auto zone cough 27$
When I picked up the product I went around to the auto department to get it installed. I showed the manager that I just bought the part and it clearly said on the app free installation with purchase. He said that didn't apply there and I was charged for the installation. As a new Walmart member I was disappointed.
So i was looking for an upgrade in headlights, because the original amber style lights are just plain hard to view. So i actually got an email from auto zone about 20% of headlights; however im glad i went to walmart.com and found these. For the price that i paid for they are substantially better than the basic. So if you do not want to overpay for something, but want to get bang for your buck... pick up the extra vision.
I ordered a package of extra vision, Sylvania replacement headlights online and received an open package that had been taped shut. Normally, I go into the store and buy ones I pick out myself so I don't get an open package. You're not supposed to touch headlights with your fingers as the oil from your fingers remains on the headlights, causing heat and premature burn out on the headlights.
Website stated free installation when bought online. Store refused to install bc they would have to move the air filter housing to access the bulb. Also down loaded oil change coupon from Walmart web site. The refused to honor it until I insisted they call store manager. I will NEVER shop Walmart again.
If i could give 0 stars I would. both bulbs were faulty. We replaced the bulbs- headlights didn't work. Checked the fuses- they seemed fine. So we took the car to the mechanic and it cost $140 for them to tell us the pack of bulbs was faulty and have them change the bulbs! Arg!
After owning my car for several years, I am finally having to replace the headlights for the first time. I put the new one in and it was exactly like the old (except brand) and they only go in one way, so there's no human error. The new one is very bright, just directly at the ground. It only illuminates 10 feet in front of my car!! My old headlight on the other side shines down and way out in front, so you can actually see the road--you can not see ANYTHING down the road on the side with the new bulb. Returning and getting a whole different brand. Ridiculous. Not safe and not convenient to have to take things apart and do it all again. Half the road is in the dark after putting one new bulb in. Makes me much more anxious to drive at night. Hope next set actually works.
i ordered the Ultra Vision with the blue bands on the lightbulbs and they sent these. No notification that they were switched/substituted. Then on the purchase history, it said they were a "weight adjusted" item. What?!?! They're friggin headlights! That doesnt even make sense. So i guess the point of my review is, don't always trust the in store shoppers.
