While it's a pretty basic item, it is build solid, both the plastic filter housing and the steel in/outlets. Also of note, when you drain your fuel source, you can push air through the inlet and it will push a lot of the fuel out, leaving you with less to drain from the filter housing when done, and then any fuel left in the outlet (attached) hose you can lift the hose and it will drain back into the housing for easy draining.
