I found these to be durable (as much as one can expect for Christmas lights) I have left them on my outside tree... and the next year ... 80 percent were still working. I have never had the problem that the first reviewer had and I have bought these for years.
I bought a box of 400 of the clear kind and when I got them home only about 50 worked. So I went back and exchanged them. The new box worked for about a week and then all of them stopped working again. Its a waste of time and money.
