The reason I bought this was my old Iron 's cord broke- from wrapping it around - This one is retractable - and works great ! Should last much longer - Also has Auto shutoff - A must have ! Very happy with this purchase
My problem with this iron is that it's very heavy, and doesn't glide over the fabric as well as I had hoped. The clothes look good when finished, but it takes more effort and time than I'd like.
Iron worked gerat for 11 months was easy to use and did a great job. It did overheat after 11 months of use and we are requesting warranty repairs - we will see. 2 year limited warranty. Iron overheated and strated smoking, ruined a nice shirt - temp control may be issue. Up until it overheated it worked better than many other expensive irons we have owned.
Not the best iron for the money. I both it in the summer, and 3 months later, one of the buttons broke. I exchanged it for new one, and few months later I have the same problem. It is a cheap iron, but still not worth the money.
If I hadn't thrown away the box, I would definitely ask for a refund. The first time I used it, it stained my shirt with oxide residue. I used the auto clean button and I have never been so discusted. What came out of the iron was more like mud than water. My previous iron was a black and decker and it worked fine, makes me wonder what they have done to improve them that has actually made them worse. I keep using it but now I have to abstain from adding water to it. That has ruined my ironing experience.
DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. After you do about 3 hours of iron, the sole plate will begin to scorch and ruin your clothing. It cannot be cleaned at all. SAVE YOURSELF FROM EXPENSE AND TIME.
Not a smooth glide and creates more wrinkles. They must have changed because I bought one a couple years ago and it was fine until it began smoking then stopped working :( Maybe that should have been a sign to switch brands.
