However, the cord is the width of the space on the bottom between the plate and the base, so the cord gets stuck in this gap when ironing.
Very easy to use and the steam option works great.
Very light weight. Simple to use. Very efficient. Quite handy.
This iron leaks so badly, it makes water stains on many fabrics, causing you to rewash the items and start over again! Completely useless product!
I bought model # IR0175W & haven't had the iron for 2 months yet and already having problems. Water leaks out of the holes in the soleplate both when it's on it's heel and being used. There are times when it's suppose to steam and little to no steam comes out. Even though the iron was inexpensive I expected better quality from a Black & Decker product.
I went out to get a new iron, after my Black and Decker Quick 'N Easy 330 iron quit working. It was 10-15 years old. It worked great, but I guess it was wore out. This new iron looked similar to it and handled like it. I bought it and was in for a big surprise. I like to steam iron my clothes, but this iron is ridiculous. The water splashes out of the water fill opening when ironing and get the clothes wet. Also, when you go to set it on its heel the water comes out on your hands, runs down the iron and gets the ironing board cover all wet. Very disappointed in this iron. I may have to start sprinkling clothes and roll up ahead of time like the old days. I'll then just have to iron with the dry setting only. What a shame the products today are made so poorly.
My iron produces very little steam even at the high setting. The water spits out of the soleplate onto the fabric in streaks as I iron. When I set the iron on its heel, drops of water dribble out onto the ironing board. The board cover and pad are completely soaked with water around the heel of the iron. this is a terrible iron , there is nothing on it to even say if it is on , it constantly leaks water , and does not get hot enough for uniforms. I bought this after my first Black and decker was done , sorly dis appointed
