ADJUSTABLE SETTING: Confidently apply the perfect concentration of steam, or no steam at all, to all your ironing tasks. Set it at HIGH for heavier and everyday fabrics, LOW for more delicate fabrics and quick, easy touch-ups, or choose DRY for ironing when no steam is needed. The iron features an automatic, anti-calcium system that helps prevent clogged steam vents by reducing sediment buildup in the vaporizing chamber of the iron

I love my new Black and Decker SmartTemp iron. I first bought a complicated, streamlined "professional" steam iron that cost twice as much as this one. It was heavy, I couldn't see or understand all the markings on the iron, it didn't iron smoothly but caused the material to buckle (It was the iron, not me; I've been ironing for 65 years), couldn't figure out all the steam/spray features. Took it back immediately. This iron is light, simple, steams beautifully, irons perfectly. It does exactly all I want from a steam iron: makes my ironing chore easy and comfortable. Perfect!
The iron is a bit smaller and lighter in weight than I expected but seems to get the wrinkles out. U prefer a non-stick surface which this has so a decent iron for the price. The knob to dial temperature is a bit small and hard to read but not impossible. A good value.
I bought this as a gift to my mother. She has arthritis pretty badly in her hands and needed something light. I read another review that said it was good for people with arthritis, so I bought it. My mother said it is a little heavier than the one she had, but she likes it heavier. Her only complaint about it was that the labeling on the knobs is too small to see without her glasses on.
This iron removes wrinkles fast i never thought i would find a iron that would after years of buying irons that claime to remove wrinkles but didn't.i love this iron very light weight and durable.i like that even when not using steam i can still smooth the wrinkles away in a blast.and this iron heats fast great for those who don't like to wait 5-10 minutes or more for a iron to heat.
It's a normal iron, but still good. If you can go to the store they have cheaper irons there and you can save about 5$.
I wish the dial were more intuitive. Just numbers. Iron is a lot lighter than I thought it would be so you have to do some pressing down even on the hottest setting. The hole for adding water is tiny so it gets pretty messy.
I received this item free, in exchange for my honest review. Upon opening the package. I read the instructions, which are very simple. I added a bit of water and plugged it in. I had just washed and dried my car seat cover, which had a few wrinkles in it, so I thought I'd give it a try. The iron itself has a real nice, clean look to it. The reservoir that holds the water looks to be well put together. Upon plugging it in and turning it on, it seemed to get hot straight away. I would strongly suggest not to press the iron down with force onto any type of material. I did notice that it would more than likely leave an "iron mark" on the fabric, especially if you are a novice in using one. I would not start out with the highest setting either, as it got hot quick. That will more than likely make your fabric stick to the iron, resulting in damage. I would also not advise using this on delicate fabric. The steam worked well, but do not overfill. The iron does have a smooth glide to it when using it. Overall, it served it's purpose and is a good buy for the price of the item. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It's okay. Very light and I had a older version of this iron and thought I was ordering a different iron. I kept it because I don't iron that often. It is good for knocking out wrinkles. One problem is dial is hard to read. Basically, if you do a lot of ironing, this is not the iron for you.
The iron is okay nothing to rave about it. It seems to stick onto clothing while ironing. I will be returning this iron!
You get what you pay for but this was not worth the money at all. The iron barley got warm and when I filled it with water it run out all over my iron board. It is not worth spending the postage to send it back.
