It's 2023 and this microwave is still working perfectly! Really like its appearance and ease of use.
Shame they discontinued it. Probably to replace with one that breaks down in 5 years.
The microwave heats food quick. We constantly are using it and still performing great. I love that we can just press a set button and hit start. Very convenient.

Broke down in about 5 years, which is very less compared to average life of a Microwave. Was bit noisy when it was working, and stopped heating food one fine day. Looks like the Magnetron went defective for no reason and the warranty does not cover that. Very expensive to replace, rather buy new Microwave. Will not buy or recommend GE products.
This GE Microwave JE186086(1.8 cubic feet) stainless steel model looked good in the online photo but when we took it out of the box and tried to set it up the trouble began. The microwave was not level in any direction so it was very unstedy when set up on the counter. I checked it with my "level" and the bubbles were off in all directions. My counter top was checked out and it was level. I placed two beverage coasters under one side and got it leveled--there were no legs or footings to adjust so I then thought, this is ridiculous , reboxed it and returned to Wal-Mart for a refund. I do not recommend this particular model of microwave.
