This item is really great. It is small enough to just hang in a convienent place on your kitchen wall which keeps it from taking up valuable draw, cubord, or sountertop space. It works well for 90% of cooking applications. Naturally it is a little small for heavy, stiky jobs but that usually isn't a large part of most peoples cooking.
I mainly use this mixer to beat eggs. This mixer is "stronger" than a similar Black and Decker mixer I had for 26 years. I like it because it is very easy to use. I don't have to set up anything. Hopefully this one will last as long.
Pro's: I enjoy using the Gizmo because for small jobs; I do not have to pull out my large hand mixer or use my Kitchen Aid Pro Mixer. It is easy to use, fast for small jobs, and quick to clean and store without a lot of work. Easily stores on a wall. I like the way I can have the advantage of a straight handle too. Con's: Its disadvantage is it storage unit. It must be placed on a wall. A type of small blastic box sort of storage unit wouldf allow the user to place it in a drawer instead of on a wall. It does not store well in a drawer or on the counter. I just do not have the wall space for place it where its holder requires. Thank you,
This is the second time I have purchased this product. I find it is probably one of the handiest things I have in my kitchen, however for some reason the first one I bought had a battery problem in around two years. I am in hopes this one lasts longer but if not I will probably buy another one.

Bought this product to replace my old B&D Handy Mixer that died recently. B&D doesn't have the replacement batteries for the old one anymore. This is almost the same product with one large exception. The Handy Mixer just popped in/out of the wall mount with contacts on the end for recharging the battery. This one actually has to be plugged into the adapter; however, you can't use it if it's plugged in. You must first unplug it before it works. Go figure! Not very convenient. Also is more difficult to remove from the wall mount. But I really love the size and usefulness so it's the only choice for now.
