Warm very fast. I get great paninis with this grill. The only problem is the surfaces cannot be removed for an easy clean but I solve it covering them with aluminum foil. I am very happy with this purchase.
Purchased a Christmas gift. Very happy and satisfied with the panini maker.
I love how this product is a lot bigger than my last Panini maker. The finish texture of the grilled is more smoother and easily to wipe off clean. The only down fall I have is that it does not have a turn off switch but overall its a very great Panini Grilled Maker.
I bought this for my husband's kids, based on the ratings and reviews. It is every bit as good as the Krup's my husband has, without the $82 price tag. It comes with a spatula and recipe book, which makes it a nice gift for anyone who likes to make sandwiches. It cleans up easily with wet paper towels. And, it takes up little room on the counter. It encourages the kids to make something more nutritious for meals--we have even cooked small breakfast tacos and burritos on the grill with great results. It's durable, but it has a non-stick coating. It is best never to use any metal utensils on it--we use the plastic spatula or bamboo utensils.
I would possibly give it all 5 stars, but we haven't had it for long and only used it 4 times, so I'm not certain about durability.

This is our second one. We had our first Panini maker for 5 years and it is time for a new one. It is great and easy to use.
I have been using it the day i got it and havent stopped i put my vegatables And sandwiches on this grill:)!
I purchased this and took it back after 2 uses. There are many shortcomings to this unit, some of which I knew before I bought it. -The useful amount of the power cord is only about 12" -Very hard to clean as top portion doesn't lay flat and doesn't turn over far enough so you are cleaning it either upside down or straight up and down. -No temp control which is not a major deal -The ready power light is supposed to turn green when ready but glows yellow a little bit. If all these things are ok for you, then buy it, it works fine other than what was listed.
