Excellent job cooking different items but you must get used to the appearance of the final result. It does nor scorch or burn and some things like hamburgers finish differently than you might expect. Also, the cooking times in the user guide are just that - a guide. It takes some practice to get the desired finished product based upon thickness of the item as well as the desired doneness. Other than that it works excellently - is simple to clean and easy to setup and store away.
I bought this grill 2-3 years ago and I love it. It's great especially for quick meals. I have also been eating healthier. Very easy to clean up. The only thing I don't like is the numbers on the dial came off. I have used mine so much that I will have to get another one soon, because I cracked the lid and my plates are starting to show scratches. I feel it is well worth the money.
This grill is great. It is nice to look at and very easy to use. But the best features include the ease of use, the size and most importantly the removable grill plates that can be put in the dishwasher.
My husband and I have probably had this about 4 or 5 years. We use it several times a week, especially when we need to fix a quick meal. It is fantastic. I didn't have problems with the numbers coming off like some of the other reviewers. Mine is still in great shape. It is very easy to use, easy to and easy to clean. In fact, we just ordered our son one for Christmas, because he wanted one like ours. Highly recommend this product!!
This is an excellent product with a large cook area. I've used this brand for years and was happhy to see the larger capacity available for such a reasonable price. Check out consumer reports; they give this baby better value than Foreman's Grill. I couldn't cook without it!

Works as advertised but you need to be careful when cleaning the plates to keep from scratching them. Otherwise it's an awsome grill.
Since we don't have an outdoor grill, we love this produce and use almost everyday! It's easy to use, grill to perfection and the best feature, very easy to clean! I love the fact that you can use dishwasher to clean the grill plate. I was always nervous to make the perfect steak, but this one made my worry go away. My husband loves my grilled chicken now. It's just the perfect product and it's worth every single penny I spent. If you are looking for the indoor grill, this is the one you need to get! I also searched the price and Wal-Mart was the least expensive one.
The Hamilton Beach Contact Grill is great. It is a very versatile appliance. It is also very easy to clean. Your food will not dry out because it seals in the juices. My overall rating is a 5. Thank You, ABA52
i have been wanting to get an indoor grill for a long time. my mom has this exact model and she loves it. it is very easy to use and cooks great. but, i am very dissapointed in the cooking plate quality. after only one use the non stick coating began to chip off. not a good thing at all.
