I have had several vacuums over the years none compare to a Bissell. This is my second one (the first got broken by my daughter!) it picks up great easy to empty and comes with a good length cable and a good price. I wouldn't buy any other brand now.
Love our new Bissel! Wish we had one years ago as it is the best answer to a messy chef and shedding dog!! Vacuum and clean in one quick action!! Plus you don't have to worry about strange chemicals being licked off the floor! (By the dog, I mean)..it has also helped with COVID cleaning protocols for my home based office! Thanks, Bissel!
Fantastic Product, cleans amazingly well after a couple of months heavy usage. Filters easy to clean and no loss in suction. Only slight complaint is the lead could do with being a bit longer.... minor issue however and this is the best vacuum I have used.
A bit heavier than I expected. Very powerful at the highest setting it lifts some of my carpets off the floor. However it is a very good quality hoover.
Product is not bad but having a few issues. The first one is the steam temperature. Is not hot at all ,just warm so I'm not sure if the sanitizing option is working very well. The other issue is that you can't go in small space and can't do corner with the steam pad.
Bought this 2.5 years ago. Works well used it weekly. Of course once the warranty expires it suddenly stopped steaming. I contacted bissell and they referred me to a service location—- BUT when I contacted that service location they informed me they stopped working with bissell 5 years ago and despite their attempts to tell bissell to stop sending customers there, they continue to do so. Very frustrating. I was offered 20% towards a new machine. The exact same machine was on sale. But I could not combine the deals ( which I understand since that would be a huge discount ... though frustrating because I wasn't told about not combining offers until I was already processing my next order. I was even referred to email sign up for 15% off in the chat in addition to being told about the 20% off. You would think at that point I would be told they cannot be combined) I ordered another one. I will see how it is. If it craps out again after the warranty I will not be buying bissell again.
I have ordered the Symphony three separate times over the past few years. The machine works FABULOUSLY, UNTIL it stops steaming. I use filtered water and keep all of the parts clean. Each time, there is a clicking noise when I press the handle - I call Customer Service and we trouble shoot over the phone, but each time it is just after warranty and I have to buy a new machine. So when it is working, it is fantastic. However, be prepared to replace your machine every 2 years.
I have bought Bissell hoovers for the last 20 years, and have found the cleaning and above all, the design, absolutely excellent. A ** Brilliant. They were just so user-friendly. Sadly, this model wasn't such a good successor to the last one. Flex is just slightly too short - by just the couple of inches that make a big difference. So is the flex on the extension tube. The filters are horribly fiddly to extract and clean - and why, oh why do you have to put your arm up inside the dust container to do it ? My sleeve needed cleaning afterwards. Would have to think before buying Bissell again, and that's a shame.
My first one quit just after 1 year, they replaced it with only the rest of the warranty and that one quit 4 months after the rest of the original warranty. I really loved this product but with my experience I could not see buying a third one, just to have this happen again! I now have a cross wave but not as good as this one. If this goes will have to give up on Bissell.
I literally just received it and opened it. The inside looks a bit used but I still put everything together first. The vacuum works but the steamer never worked. I waited for 60 secs and it only had the clicking noise. After waiting for 10 mins, not a bit of steam came out. I then proceed to start the return and realized I had to pay $5 to return an already broken product. If I changed my mind, I understand that I needed to pay but I was shipped a defective product to begin with. Now I have to take my time and effort to put everything back together and drive to return the product. What a waste of my time. I thought Bissell is a big name company and I trusted it's products before but not anymore!
