This box set caters to fans of screen legend Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. with three of the actor's most popular silent works. First up is the comedy When the Clouds Roll By, directed by Gone with the Wind's Victor Fleming - with Fairbanks as a freewheeling young bachelor bamboozled by a nutty psychiatrist. Next on the bill is the 1917 The Americano, with Fairbanks as a mining engineer who falls hard for the daughter of a deposed South American leader. Finally, the same year's Wild and Woolly stars Fairbanks as the naïve son of Eastern bluebloods, who idolizes the Old West and inadvertently winds up in a real-life hold-up scenario and tries to use clichéd tricks from western novels to save the day.
