It cleans well, only care you take is do not run it for more than 10-12 mins continuously to be on safe side so that it should not drain your car battery. The other reviews that have mentioned that it sucks from one side and blows out from behind, i was very particular in that and have observed that the dust which is sucked inside does not come out. its the back blower that simply blows the dust already in the car. its the nature of vacuum cleaning, the air needs to be sucked in from one side and to be discharge from other side so that vacuuming can happen. the blowing of the dust can be avoided by changing the angle of the vacuum and try to keep it high. This is good vacuum.
This is a car vac that you can keep in the trunk and is less bulky and easier to use than a regular vacuum. It is small and prortable, yet powerful enough to take care of your normal car vacuuming. The two attatchments lets you get into small spaces and for carpets. The cord plugs right into the power outlet or lighter and is long enough you can vacuum the trunk. The filter is removable and washable and the dust cup is easy to remove and empty. A good all around solid product that should give many years of service.
I bought this to keep my truck clean at all times and it works well. I love this product. Best thing ever

The best thing about this car vacuum is that the power stays constant, not like a battery operation where the power starts to die before the job is done.
This dustbuster is a bit on the big side. The suction mouth piece is small. Not that powerful either.
I thought since this is a Black & Decker product that it would be great but when I tried it out it had very little suction. It gets the job done but very slowly. I feel like using a regular vacuum with a crevice attachment would do better at cleaning up the car.
The suction isn't quite what I expected but it does pick up most dirt. Love that it can be used in the auto plug. Would still order it again, just wish the suction was a bit better.
I bought this dust buster for my car because it had good reviews. BIG mistake. I went to use it in my car and it blew dirt everywhere in my car. It should be called dust blower not dust buster. Needless to say it went back to the store. DO NOT BUY. Piece of junk.
sucking power is weak under 12V power. I'm not sure if all other 12v vacuums are weak, but this one is. The most terrible problem is it sucks dust from the front but spits it out from the side. You may find poor design of the interior structure where there is only a thin and weak rubber ring seal that prevents debris coming out from the rear. So you are likely to stir up a sandstorm while using this vacuum
