I have an ever shedding ivory lab and a dark interior truck. This is the best product I have found for removing pet hair quickly. Highly recommend.
We bought this handvac to pick up Golden Retirever hair and it works very well. I was reading other reviews about overheating but my son forgot to turn it off, it was on for about 45 minutes and it was just fine. I like this product.
I did my research, I saw some negative feedbacks but I said its Walmart, I can take it back, they also now offer a insurance plan you can get for extra. I am glad I did, it is the most powerful. I hate cordless, batter life is never long, maybe 10 minutes. The attachment hose is not long so I modified an older hose from one of the other vacs that failed me. I have not used the rubber hair brush but I can see how and why it would work, I put the rubber brush together and ran it and its very strong and durable. I thought about dyson but the price is crazy and I don't see any changes in the future. It cleans out quickly but its grabs everything in its path. The main tank was not even full but the two filters catch everything and need some attention, I had to get a small nylon brush to get into the creased ribs of the filter. I don't care, after I saw all it got, I was happy and the machine did not get hot. it does blow air out the other end hard so be sure not to point it where you have yet to vac or it will blow any loose dust in the air. cord is long enough for me to reach over my king bed and vac the corners of the floor on the other side. CYCLONE NOT really, the intake is angled off to the side 90 degrees and turned down and not strait in so it does angle the air but its more of a ventrui than any cyclone tech I have seen. Still its powerful and it grabs everything I need it too. I have not tried nails or anything like that but I know it will pick up tacs and paper clips. I hope this helps. I did a walmart site to store and had it in 4 days vice the week or so it said on the web site. I am glad it came so quick. I don't know why they don't stock it, but to me its the best of the corded machines, but I have no clue how fast these sell , I'm sure walmart would stock them if they moved quicker. I got mine, get yours.
I needed a small, but powerful vacuum cleaner to get rid of the nasty balls of dust, the computers around are full of. This is a production facility, so there's lots of dust, and you really need something with power to clean up all those cooling ventilators and little gaps on the motherboards, around the memories, on the grids of the power supplies. The blowing function was also crucial. So I got this B&D and didn't got wrong. First, it's very powerful. Much more than the office DirtDevils. In the same time it's light and fits in smaller spaces. The cord is long enough. The only thing I really miss in this vacuum cleaner is a brush, but nothing's perfect. My overall experience is absolutely positive.
I bought this hand vac because my Dirt Devil died, and I needed something to clean up the hair of two labs and fuzzy cat from my furniture. I was reluctant when I read some of the reviews online, but I am glad I went with my gut instinct. I LOVE this vac, and not only use it for the animal hair, but everthing that needs a quick clean up. I use it every day. It has not yet overheated for me, and that may be because I clean the canister out after each use.......very important with little hand vacs because they are so compact. The canister and filter are very easy to clean, and it's nice not having to buy bags all of the time. The attachment is wonderful, and is very powerful. The hose is nice for small spaces (and getting rid of spiders! HA HA).
I just bought this and I love it. I have two cats and one sheds terribly. I have hair all over my bedspread and my furniture. I plugged this in and used it on my bed. It took the hair right off. I have tried 10 different non-electric pet hair removers and this is the first thing that has actually worked.
This is a great product. Works exactly as advertised. I had no problems with any of the attachments and they all work very well. For the money, I do not believe you could get a better product. Took it right out of the box and began cleaning. I have a short haired cat that isn't too messy but my sofa needed some TLC. This works great. I use it daily for litter clean up around his box and around the house for anything I spill or bring in from outside. It works great for cleaning our SUV and the long cord is especially nice. It is a bit noisy, but it is very powerful. You do need to empty it and clean the filter quite frequently. I gave it 4 stars because I have not had it very long.
My wife uses this corded model almost twice a day everyday to battle the cat hair on the tile and vinyl floors. It does a great job. We use to wear out cordless vacs regularly and were never happy with the length of their charge. The one defect that we have noticed is in the power cord. The base of the cord near the vac itself seems to fail in the middle of the cord tension reliever. The tension on the cord, splits the wire covering and eventually the exposed wires split and will spray sparks as the vac cuts out and restarts spontaneously. We have had two such vacs do this and noticed the demonstrator model in the store has the same issue Thankfully, both our vacs are under the two year warranty period and we intend to send them in for repair or replacement. This has been the only down note in an otherwise great experience.
I purchased this hand held vacuum cleaner because it was recommended by Dog Fancy Magazine for cleaning up animal hair. It does clean up after my animals, but it overheats quickly and shuts off. So if you use it 15 minutes, it shuts off for 20 or more minutes, faster if you're cleaning furniture. Also, the attachments don't attach. They slip into a socket and slip out again too easily. It only matters with the roller attachment because when it falls out, it comes apart and you have to reassemble it. So - it works well for a quick, short cleanup, but not if you have a whole sofa to clean just before guests are arriving. Plan ahead to allow for the unit's downtime. Another positive feature is that it's small enough and quieter than a regular vacuum cleaner, and my dog wasn't afraid of it. I could use the vacuum on her. Squash
With 2 dogs on a boat with carpet in the cabin, I thought this would be a great vacuum for us. The carpet brush died with in 5 minutes of use. I checked the belts and everything and couldn't find a reason why. So, I started using it without the brush. It over heated and died in 5 more minutes. 30 minutes later, it would start again. I'm returning it today. Extremely disappointing.
