I purchased this entertainment center online according to the previous reviews I read and I was not disappointed. It really is a beautiful piece of furniture and does look like a $1000.00 unit when assembled. It took my son & son-in-law approx. 4 1/2 hours to put together. It was delivered without any damage to the pieces. Note: trucking company used was curbside delivery. It came in two packages and was extremely heavy. I am very very pleased in all. Bobbi
I have been searching for a practical yet elegant entertainment center for a while now and stumbled upon this unit. Based on it's appearance and storage capacity I loved it right away. I based my decision on price, appearance, and other reviews i read from this website. The only drawback i didn't like was i could not physically see and touch this unit before purchase. The only thing I can say is that the product was well packaged, and priced right, I totally recommend!!!!
Pricing was right for this piece of furniture. It looks like it would have cost more. Storage space is more than you might need. Assembly took me a little longer than I thought it would. It matches my computer armoire perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone.
I've been a Sauder customer for a few years now and was even more pleased with my latest purchase of the Sauder entertainment center than ever before. The instruction guide is so easy to follow, the constructing mechaniziam is a breeze and you have a beautiful piece of furniture when you're done. Very solid and well constructed.
For the price this unit is great. Plenty of storage space, look like a thousand dollar entertainment center. Was easy to put together. If you have a 32 inch LCD you can still use the VCR shelf. I am very pleased with this purchase.
I would agree with the other positive reviews. Product does take some time to assemble, but well worth it. It looks like one of those thousand dollar pieces at a furniture store. Be prepared to have a little hassle with the delivery but overall well worth the money.
Product was delivered to my door even though the 18 wheeler had to back into the cul-de-sac. Upon opening one of the 2 boxes the center came in, there were 3 pieces that were damaged and unusable. I called the manufacturer and the pieces were replaced without argument and overnighted to me so that not much time was not lost before assembly. Assembly was easy, the instructions were generally easy to understand and follow, and the end product looks great.
I ordered this item on-line and it arrived in less than a week. There were a couple of parts damaged in shipment, but I logged on the Sauder website, ordered the parts and they arrived in four day! It took 3 - 4 hours to assemble, but the instructions were very clear and my husband got it together with no problems. Overall it is a nice, sturdy (and heavy) piece of furniture with a lot of storage and I would recommend it to anyone.
I'm very satisfied with this product. Although the materials (particle board) aren't the greatest, the design is sturdy and surprisingly solid. The finish is surprisingly high quality for the price. Expect assembly to take 10-16 manhours, even if you're fairly handy. The only issue I've found is the corner trim pieces on the bottom feet are stuck on with an adhesive strip. After scooting it a few inches on the carpet, they came right off. Will need to glue them. Also, the bottom double door cabinet has a locking cabinet within the double door cabinet, a very nice surprise if you're trying to store things away from kids.
Beautiful piece of furniture. It looks great in my living room and really makes me smile every time I enter the room. Still one of the last people on earth with a tube TV and most entertainment centers are either too big or too small for my 27" TV. This unit is perfect. With the VCR shelf put in above the TV, there is an equal amount of space all the way around the TV and I finally have an entertainment center that looks like it was made for the TV. It was easy to assemble with minimal adjustments on the hinges and doors. Beautiful medium color wood. I was careful about the measurements before making my purchase because I thought it might be too big for my new house, but I am pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous it is. It was well worth the money. The unit is large and very heavy, but very sturdy and I feel confident it will last well beyond my ownership of my tube TV! The flat screen I will purchase next will still look nice in the unit! I am displeased, however, with the delivery service WalMart used. This piece was not available for free site-to-store delivery. The company WalMart used to deliver this unit to me is not a company I would use again. That is the only thing I would change about this purchase. The unit arrived in my city (DFW) but it took the delivery company three days to make an appointment with me to drop off the unit.
