Easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The wood is nice. The manual states on page 18: "This product is designed and intended for 60" flat panel televisions weighing 154 pounds or less." The Walmart website says up to 50". Now, after reading the manual, I can get a 55" tv, which is the size I need for the room. Also, when I decided to purchase this stand from the Walmart website, it was $130 cheaper than the last time l looked at it. I was happy about that. If you need shelf space for larger or deeper sized audio/video components like I do, this stand has it.
I was so used to imitation wood and products that are held together with cheap hardware that I was surprised when I opened the box this time. At first the assembly does appear a little intimidating but once I figured out they sent extra screws (depending on the size needed for your tv), putting it together took me and one person about 30 minutes. Really nice center, real cherry wood, black tempered glass, all held together with steel rods and a light weight aluminum frame to mount the tv; I was really impressed even though it does feel a little pricey, $400. I think this is one entertainment center I won't have to replace.
I have seen many TV stands in couple stores and this one is one of the nicest TV stands. It will fit LCD TV up to 60 inches. After assembling everything together, it felt strong and looked nice. One thing that was not so great was to mount the TV (but it could be because of my TV only). I have a 55 LG TV and where I wanted to mount the TV at a good position (not too high and not too low to the base of the TV stand) I had to drill couple holes and bought couple screws from Home Depot to be able to do so. The TV stand came with many screws, but since I had to drill couple holes, the screws would not fit. But I took care of that and mounted the TV nicely it. It is a very nice and great TV stand.
I LOVE MY TV ENTERTAINMENT STAND. IT IS LARGE ENOUGH TO DISPLAY MY HOME THEATER SYSTEM BUT NOT TOO LARGE FOR THE SPACE IN MY LIVING ROOM. THIS TV STAND IS A VERY HANDSOME PIECE OF FURNITURE WITH THE NOTICABLE CHERRYWOOD ACCENTS. ASSEMBLING THE STAND WAS VERY EASY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS WHICH WERE CLEARLY NUMBERED LIKE PUTTING TOGETHER A PUZZLE. i'VE HAD MY STAND FOR 2 WEEKS AND i STILL LOOK AT IT AND GET A FEELING OF PRIDE. very easy to assemble and a nice looking stand. an assistant is needed but you can do a lot of pre-assembling so the time with an assistant is less than one hour.
I was specifically looking for a stand that would allow me to set the center speaker (a very large one) uner the TV. which would require something that effectively mounted the TV above the shelf instead of just sitting on it. This piece does that, and is very handsome as well. Walmart had the version with the Rosewood instead of just black which Best BUy carried, and it was cheaper at Wal-Mart online. All in all I got the features I was looking for in a very attractive unit and at a good price.
first- fast shipping by wallmart + the lowest price availble. that stand is great - easy to build. when you hang the lcd ( 2 pepole needed) it shows u the big difference than just stand on the leg. its great solution for not drilling the wall. i must say its scary to know that what holds the tv are only 4 screws... another importent thing- the customer service of "bush" is great- fast answer over the phone at late hour and to know u have them + warranty is something i didnt find elsewhere. very recommended!!!!!
This is the best looking t.v. stand I could have ever purchased. Assembly couldn't have been any easier. Although due to it's size it does take 2 people piece it together. Right now I have a 37" hanging from it so I need to hurry up and buy a much bigger t.v. to fill out that unsued space, but other than that I couldn't have asked for a better product.
I bought this to hang my new 55in. vizio on and it looks beautiful. It is sturdy, the parts are solid and strong and it was very easy to assemble. A partner would have made it even easier (there is some heavy lifting required) but still quite easy. I'm sure it will last for quite a while. It really is beautiful, sleek and modern with warm cherry wood and aluminum accents. I am very pleased with the purchase. And a well done to Wal-Mart as well, I ordered it online and two days later it was ready for pickup, not the weeks it said it would be. Really, an all around good experience.
I thought the instructions could have been a little better, had to disassemble at one point to go back a few steps. Overall a good product, although the center post for hanging the TV was not straight so we had to fiddle a bit to get the TV level. I would purchase other items by this company.
