This roll-around cart is a good way to add some cabinet and counter space. It was quite easy to assemble because all hardware items were in their own individually labeled bags, and the other pieces were all labeled. I thought the camlocks did not turn as far as I expected, but they seemed to fasten well enough. I assembled the cart by myself with the exception of asking for help placing the top on. I could have done it by myself, but it was easier to have one person on each end to line up the camlock screws. It seems to be sturdy and should last for a long time with normal use. The drawers are better constructed than some I have seen. They can hold some rather heavy kitchen items without the bottom popping out. Although this item was not particularly cheap, the extra quality is worth the price.
Though it was easily put together, some adjustments to one of the doors was necessary but easily completed (the holes for the magnet were just off a little). This is perfect for our small kitchen. We are using it as a replacement for a table and 4 chairs. Since we are only two now that the kids have left the home.
I was glad to find the kitchen cart and breakfast bar in time for my Christmas baking. I live in a one bedroom apartment,and did not have very much counter-space or storage. The cart fit very nicely in my kitchen. I happened to tell my son about the cart and he brought one for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. The cart was easy to put together and is made with good materials. I would recommend it to anyone looking for extra space and storage. It is an added asset to any kitchen.
This item came well packaged and undamaged weighing 141lb. This product needs two people to build. Took us over 3 hours to build. Everything must be assembled even the drawers. Its a Christmas gift tho...and I know my mom will love it. Well worth the effort! Also, the manufacturer shipped so fast it almost made my head spin.
This island is perfect! If you don't mind spending an hour or two assembling it, it is a great buy. Its cheaper here than at other stores and arrived at my doorstep days earlier than expected. It is very sturdy and looks great. Haven't scratched the steel countertop yet. It came with great instructions and extra screws.
This cart is just what I needed! It is a great quality product that has really impressed me. There are many pieces, but assembly is not difficult. Very sturdy and well made!
We purchased this item on line with a free two day delivery date. It was delivered to the door on the second day. It had to be put together but the directions were easy to follow and it is solid wood. No chipboard in sight. It fit our space wonderfully well and with the wheels moves very easily when unlocked. I love the stainless steel top and the hardwood leaf. I am very happy with the look and the versatility of this unit and would highly recommend it to anyone.
everything was great. One of the draws stick. Putting it together was rough so i had someone else do it. They left it outside and i didn't know it was coming
I loved my cart when I first got it less than 1 month ago. It was my birthday present and I picked this one from the many choices available on the internet, partly because of the sanitary stainless steel top. What I didn't count on was how EASILY this top scratches! It had some slight scratches when we received it, and because of my anxiousness to have a cart in my kitchen, I overlooked them. But now it looks terrible! Daily the scratches have mounted with normal daily use (yes, I use cutting boards and treat this with kit gloves). We brought in groceries last night and placed them on top of it and when they were all put away I noticed the whole top was marred! I tried to clean it, but no use. Now it's the week of Thanksgiving and I really don't have time to return this and get a new one before company lands on my doorstep! Don't get a stainless steel top, unless you aren't going to set anything on top of it!!!!
It looks good at first, but it's a cheap grade of stainless steel, really thin, scratches VERY easy and it gets rusted!! The company doesn't provide replacement parts even if you want to pay for them.
