This queen size bed fits well in my 10x13 room with lots of space around it. Its very sturdy and well worth the price. The only problem I've had is that it doesn't come with screws to hold the slats to the frame. Other then that it is moderately simple to put together and takes two people at times to assemble the bed.
For what I paid, I absolutely love this bed frame and headboard! It's VERY stylish and trendy and it was fairly easy to put together. As always, they could make the directions easier to understand but once you get the basic concept, it's not hard. The very top board of the headboard had a nice dent in it, but we switched it with the middle board and its fine now. What I really love about this bed set is you do not have to have a box spring. We purchased just a pillow top mattress with no box spring and it worked out great. Personally I think if we would have had a box spring as well, the mattresses would sit too high on the frame. Either way its a good buy, its good quality, and it's very sturdy! I would DEF. recommend this to a friend!
Good bed, Nice looking very, good price, Iput it in my TOYOTA camry and bring it home never had any problem using everyday. It takes time to put them together becouse parts were not labled you have to look the instruction very good and carefully in order of to get it everything in right place..... I Reccommend A+++
We bought this bed because of it's modern design & great price. We saw this at an expensive furniture store for twice as much. It took about 1 1/2 hours to put together but it looks great for our spare bedroom. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a inexpensive great looking modern bed.
yes this product is not Solid Wood and is not as sturdy as a bed that you would purchase for thousands more. However, it is 'about' the same quality at the bargain stores and is a fraction of the cost. You just have to put it together!!!!!!! But it looks cool for kids. It may last a few years, just dont even expect they will take this to college like the higher quality furniture. Nevertheless, as children grow, they change their rooms, so its worth it! NO 'jumping' allowed, as it will break, (its particle board)!
At this point I am impressed with the product. Pretty solid, easy to put together and very contemporary style. The only thing is that it took about 3 weeks to get, and at this point I haven't even received my slats yet that go underneath the mattress, but I have put the rest of the bed together, and I can tell by its sturdiness that it is well built (slats aren't going to be a deal breaker, if it takes to long I can just go to the hardware store and get some cut). It looks killer.
It was very hard to put together, took 5 1/2 hrs because the holes in the boards did not match up with the holes on the bed, had to create new holes to match up and was very time consuming. Once bed put together very nice bed. Just need to make sure all matches up for easy assembly.
The overall look is awsome, already had compliments from friends and family. But I would recommend, (especially putting it together on your own), is to put the 3 headboard slats on the steel posts first, put the main bolts in thru frame and then tighten down. I followed the directions and attached the steel frames for the headboard first to the frame and tried to apply the 3 headboard slats, no can do, (unless you had two people). Other than that, all was good!
Looks nice. The only issue we had is that there is a gouge in the wood on the left side/top of the headboard. It wasn't worth the time/effort to exchange it and doesn't stand out when you look at the entire headboard. It matches nicely with the desk, dresser, etc. that we had purchased several years ago. Overall, good quality for the price you pay.
This bed was very hard to put together. You need at least two people and a LOT of patience. The directions are terrible - no words, just diagrams that don't tell you there is an upside-down as well as a backwards to most all of the pieces. It is impossible to tell this from the diagrams. It looks ok once it's together, but the mattress goes on these wooden slats that you can't fasten down without a great deal of difficulty. I wouldn't buy this bed again. Too much trouble.
