At first I bought this and was doubtful of how it would come out or how well the quality was going to be, but it exceeded my expectations. Relatively easy to built, the color was nice it even blended just fine with my other black furniture (which i didn't expect it would). Only thing that I disliked about my online order was that the three parts arrived seperate, but other than that I had my bed within 8 days which isn't bad considering the size of the order.
I have worked for furniture companies and have never seen a bed constructed better. The bed looks great for the style it carries (just like the picture). This bed was easy to build. It has very sturdy construction. The connection points are fool proof. I see no way to break the completed assembly unless you are jumping around on the bed. I think if you are a person who wants value for your money and you take care of your investments you will not find a better bed for the "price".
i love this bed.. i am 21 and bought this bed thinking it would be better than my old bed ( a futon bunk-beds set) anyway i love it.. a little patience is needed to put it together but the bed is sturdy and doesnt require a boxspring so it saved some money for me there... the look is perfect for what i wanted and the price was awesome.. great deal so far!!!
Decent bed, and pretty straightforward to put together. Not the sturdiest feeling thing in the world, but it suits me just fine and you can't beat the value! Site to store shipping was also great and everything fit within the confines of my little hyundai accent.
The framework is nice overall. Except some minor things: 1, the wood is not that strong. I accidentally hit something on the board and a small dent was left. 2, the 'silver' stands in the front are made from wood with silver paint, not metal. 3. the 'silver' stands in the front has pretty sharp ends. So if you put the bed in a crowed bedroom as I do, it is possible you will get hurt ...
Came with a decent size gash in the headboard. Shipping was a little slow, but not unbearable. Bed is good quality. Not as nice as a thousand dollar bed, but the price is much lower. Using it with an 8" memory foam mattress. Sleeps well. Fairly sturdy for RTA furniture. Assembly was a pain, but when isn't it.
This is the first time I've ever bought a new bed so picking one out took a lot of research. How much money should I spend on the frame, how much money should I spend on the bed, is it going to fit into my room with all my furniture, is it going to look good, etc, etc? Unless you have a no-limit budget. I wouldn't expect everything to match perfectly. Besides, it's good to be well rounded or have lots of character, even when just picking out furniture. After weeks of searching for a bed I chose this one because it had a nice, simple look to it, didn't break my budget, and some reviews I found said it was very sturdy. I wouldn't want a bed the shakes all the time while I'm sleeping. Especially for those who have sleeping problems, this might be a good one for you.
I have had numerous compliments on this bed. It is sturdy and priced right for the quality. (I did some shopping around). The instructions are a little vaque, but w/common sense added in it all worked out fine. Assembling on your own, you will need a box to balance the side frames on when attaching footboard end to headborad end. I am very satisified.
for a bed this price, it's not going to be amazing. It's cute and looks great in my room but it seems pretty cheap. the metal pieces to line the bottom didn't come in the box for some reason, so all thats lining the bottom is wood pieces which scares me that they could break. and the fact that some of the screws were either missing or too many made it a little hard to make. but after three hours of hard work it came together and it is a very cute bed.
Purchased this about 5 months ago. First, it was a huge pain to put together. I eventually finished 8 hours later. This is coming from someone who's not an idiot with that sort of thing. Second...3 months into it, pieces started to come loose. The bed would completely collapse in the front and would be impossible to squeeze the pieces back into their slots without using leg power while leaning against a wall. Just to be sure I had done everything right, I had someone professionally re-piece it together/look it over. It was then fine again for a full month, until it completely collapsed while I was sleeping. Now that I can't get a refund, I would not reccommend this AT ALL. it's garbage!!! And those wondering how big I am, I am 105 pounds. hahaha. just terrible!!!
