I ORDERED THIS ON A SATURDAY WITH THE SITE TO STORE OPTION AND BY WED I HAD IT AT HOME THE NIGHT STAND WAS PACKAGED GREAT LIKE ALWAYS ASSEMBLY TOOK ABOUT 20 MIN INSTRUCTIONS HAVE NO WORDS ONLY PICTURES GREAT PRODUCT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE IT WAS PICTURED ONLINE ALL PARTS WERE IN TACK AND NO SCRATCHES ON ANY OF THE WOOD IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT BUYING THIS PRODUCT BUY IT! GREAT PRICE AND LOOK
ok so here it is people out there looking at this product. Its a very good product that if you dont want to store a lot of things in the drawers. its made for looks not functionality. thats not to say it wont hold things you might not want in sight. just dont stack book on top of book on top of book. obviously too much weight is not a good thing with this product. with that all said. I would totally recommend that if you are reading this that you buy this piece of furniture. its super sleek and great in any room
When purchased one of the sides was busted. I could have sent it back but I didn't because I wanted it and that was my fault. Luckily the side was the inside and not outside. It wasn't the easiest piece to put together, and the directions could use words along with the pictures but I got it eventually. The little shelf part that rises is great for a laptop and the drawers hold a lot.
I was able to assemble this piece without too much trouble. Anyone who buys this must be aware that it is laminated particle board construction so you have to be careful with moisture coming in contact with this piece of furniture. This piece went well with some other dark colored furniture that I own. I like the elevated stand. From a distance it looks very expensive and trendy and makes for an attractive piece of furniture.
This night stand (which I am using as an end table) was very inexpensive, and as such I didn't expect high quality, so I wasn't disappointed when it wasn't very sturdy. It wobbles. The hardware was also plastic coated to look like metal, which i didn't expect. Overall an attractive piece of contemporary furniture about like something you would get at Ikea. Fairly easy to put together.
I rate this product "good". It's a nice design eventhough the quality of the wood could be better. I purchased the nightstand and bed for my 15 yr old son last December and it's still holding good. The only thing is that this is not good if you have a lot of stuff to put in the drawers because they seem a bit weak. My son doesn't store much and uses it as his alarm clock and telephone stand. You can't beat the price but besides the great design, you are gettign what you paid for. Also, you must clean frequently in order to maintain in good condition.
The nightstand is very nice looking, especially for the money. The quality is reflective of the price, (you get what you pay for). This is not a piece of furniture that will last a long time but it gets the job done. Other than having some pieces bent (probably during the shipping proccess) we are pleased with our purchase.
This nightstand looks like is has metal parts that are what hold the top surface up to make the shelf area. Well they are gray plastic peices. And very light. All the parts seem light and flimsy. Have not finished putting it together as one large peice came cracked. However the instructions that come with it have a phone & email to contact for replacment or missing parts. I got a response in 1 day saying they were shipping me the new part, so that was no hassel at all. I just think it will be sort of a rickety peice once it's finished. But then again it's not that expensive so what can you expect.
Too cheap, I guess it's my own fault for buying sight unseen! cardboard, cardboard, cardboard...
I lugged this and the bed home for my daughter. IT WAS HEAVY! After almost 3 hours I got it together, however when I took them out of the box, all of the corners were chipped and broken. Also the top lat on the bed didn't have the marker holes on them and it was missing two screws. Really unfortunate because it's a great bed, the quality stinks! Now i have to try and patch up particle board to look black...bummer
