It has a very pretty color. It is very sturdy and comfortable.
This bed was better than I expected. However the directions were a little scarey at first because they are just pictures no words but it ended up being very easy to follow. They could label the parts a,b,c it was a little difficult telling some of the pieces apart from each other. Made the mattress feel much firmer after getting rid of the old box spring. Made the mattress feel like new! Great support from the slats.
We bought this for our 10 year old to give him a "real" bed. The directions were not clear on a few steps, so I ended up putting the frame in the wrong position on top of the bottom frame. This is definitely a two person job.
Not as easy to assemble as IKEA, but cheaper and works great for kids room. Sleek modern look with little cash. totally great.
This bed is being used in a guest room. I chose it because the headboard curves slightly and serves as a nice back rest for reading or watching TV. When assembling the bed, some of the holes were drilled too large, and I had to rummage through my husband's screws to find some that would fit. It takes a couple of hours to assemble this bed and lots of room is needed so as not to scratch/mar the surfaces.
This looked like a very attractive bed and was priced hundreds less compared to similar platform beds. It came with no assembly instructions at all. I am very mechanical and even I had a tough time putting this bed together with help from another person. I did not think that it felt that strong once assembled so I just used the headboard and outer bed frame for it's looks. I placed an existing bedframe inside of it for strength. I am happy with the final look but the frustration of putting it together without directions is not for the faint of heart or unskilled problem solver.
