We bought this armoire for our children's playroom. We put a 27 inch tv in it and it seems to be holding it well. I will say that, I think a tv weighing 60 pounds or less would be best for this armoire. Our weighs about 75 and I think it's a little too heavy. But, it's working right now. This unit is white, and it has black or white knobs (meaning it comes with both). The hinges are black. Very sturdy and good looking. We had bought a more expensive unit and it was "antique white" and we didn't like it. Pretty easy to put together. Just like with everything else, it takes some time. I'd buy it again, that's for sure.
This armoire turned out to be really nice. It's a good quality product. Very sturdy and heavy. The area where the tv goes is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. We have a 19" tv in there now and it sits a little low....sits just above the height of our daughter's bed, but she can still see it while lying down. The drawers are very spacious and open and close smoothly. We didn't put the doors on straight and noticed it when they were closed, but we keep them open all the time so it really doesn't matter at this point. I'm sure with a little more patience and time we could get them on better. We did accidentally make a small crack on one of the bottom pieces by hammering a little hard, so I would suggest to be very careful during that process. Overall this armoire is great for a child's room or guest room.
I ordered this using the site-to-store free shipping. I was told it would take about 2.5 weeks. It arrived in one week so that was great! We received it on a Friday. Opened it on a Saturday and to our disappointment one of the major side pieces was cracked. I got on the manufacturer's website (which is not really O'Sullivan, it's the more well known brand...) and I was able to order a replacement part without having to call customer service! It was very simple and took about a minute. The replacement part was shipped to our house absolutely free of charge and arrived that Friday. Due to the ease of ordering a replacement part, I am giving the armoire 5 stars regardless of the damaged piece. The armoire itself is great. It took my husband about 2 hours to put together. The instructions were clear. The doors and drawers don't line up absolutely perfect but it was a lot better than the coordinating dresser that we also bought (see my review). In case anyone is wondering, it comes with a clothes rod as well as a shelf. We're using it for a wardrobe in the nursery and plan on using it for a TV later on.

This armoire suits our needs perfectly -- baby's room with little storage. This provides adequate hanging space and drawer storage to supplement the dresser. We plan on using it later as a TV cabinet. It took us longer than some of the other reviews indicated, but we had a 2-year-old helper! Watching the on-line video really helped and we should have watched it before we got started.
I have light/white wood furniture in my livingroom/diningroom area and this piece is perfect with it. A very true white in color and a very surprising amount of storage with the drawers for they're very deep. Being in a small handicap apt. there's very little storage so this is a big plus. The only problem I have is that I can't completely shut the top drawer with my tv on the inside shelf because the tv is heavy I guess but it's not all that noticable until I can get someone to help me fix this problem. My tv is 25" wide and about 19" deep and it fits just enough inside and still able to close the doors all the way. Doors do swing all the way to the side of the armoire and I have mine in the corner of my livingroom and it's not over bearing or sticking out at all. Over all a very nice piece of furniture that I don't think you'll be unsatisfied with. Now I have a 'lil info for all those who may not know this...my children told me that I should ask Walmart to put it together for me once they called to tell me it was in (I ordered site-to-store) and I did and they did, free of charge which saves you a tremendous headache of putting it together. Just need a way to pick it up from them once they've finished. Hope this helps!
Overall this piece of furniture was worth the money paid. It had a few places that needed to be touched up with with paint. Easy to put together. We had to pay for shipping since this product didn't offer site to store, which made the cost over $200 dollars.
The only problem is slight bowing on top shelf where TV sits on. The weight of the TV is causing bowing & the top drawer gets a little stuck. This should not happen on something brand new. But it was easy to assemble & looks very nice.
it was heavy, lugged it all the way home, opened box.............major piece broken. would not buy again. don't recommend. major pain to repack and take back to store.
We bought this item because the price was cheap...but so was the wood. Some of the pieces were chipped when we took it out of the box. I put my 3 year-old's clothes in the drawers and the drawers are falling apart...her clothes are not even heavy. We can't even use the drawer anymore because it so broken. This item is sooo not worth the money.
