If you use a room for more than one purpose and are looking for an easy-to-use, versatile, practical and tasteful solution at a good price--or you just get bored with the same ol' same ol' and like to change things around--you may love this simple but modern-looking piece. PROS: It quickly and easily converts from seat to lounger to bed and even includes a small table --or you can hide the table (such as if you want more space in the room). For each of the above options you can choose to set it up as two singles or a double, which means it can easily be adapted for couples or a couple of kids, and more. The fabric is easy to spot clean, and the table is wipe clean. The triangle-shaped pillows offer firm support and complement the furniture nicely. CONS: As other reviewers have noted, the furniture is comfortable to sit on but a bit hard when it comes to sleeping. For overnight guests, we just throw an aero bed on top. Guests love this, telling us it looks and feels like a very comfortable, regular bed. The fabric is not fancy but a practical, corduroy-type material. Depending on the room and with the right accessories, this piece's simple styling can appear less like dorm furniture than smartly-styled, functional seating or bedding. We have found when the double beds are out at least one set of fold-open legs moves sometimes, causing the end of the bed to fall down a bit. Not a big deal and doesn't happen all the time but it you expect kids to be jumping on it a piece of tie on the legs is one way to prevent it. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky moving the pieces around, but once you do it a couple of times you figure it out. And you don't need more than one person to adjust the furniture, though you may prefer some help. OVERALL: An intelligently designed piece offering lots of options in a basic but lasting style. Could use some fine-tuning, but a good value for the price.
Took about an hour to put together - fairly straight forward directions. Material is a thin courdory like fabric. Where you see pillows in the picture...there are zippers hidden underneath that the fold out legs are stored in. Average looking...definitely dorm/teenage/rec room style furniture. NOT going to be comfortable for regular sleeping, as the mattress is quite thin, but good for kids having sleepovers. The back reclines by bending forward and clicking it back. Shipping was expensive - almost $90, and I only bought it because the item was on sale. In between seats is a shelf, but be careful of spilling food and drinks if you swivel the seat. We also have a click clack futon which is more comfortable and has under seat storage. Both the click clack futon and swivel lounger came in pieces and could be transported up/down stairs.
Well, my futon just arrived and I was sent only the odd pages for the instructions. This is a big let down. You would think walmart would provide instructions to download or something.
This is a great concept. We bought it for the boys' playroom for general use and spend-the-night company. Although it certainly fit the bill, its toughness is lacking. We broke on of the hinges in less than 6 months and one of the legs on the fold out recently broke, so it will soon be retired.
Terribly uncomfortable. Not bad looking, but a slab of concrete would be much more comfortable as a chair or a bed. Do NOT buy this product!
I recently purchased this product from Wal-Mart online and I was very disappointed in the comfort level this lounger provided. If you are looking for something to merely sit on and look nice in a corner somewhere then this is for you. If you are leaning towards comfort more than appearance DO NOT PURCHASE this lounger. You can feel the poles digging into your back as you sleep. I ended up returning it for a refund minus the $87 dollar shipping cost!!!
