I had previously purchased a King-size Simmons firm mattress and LOVED it. When my boyfriend and I moved in together, he had a Queen-size bed with a mattress that was a couple of years old (Serta Perfect Sleeper); however, I could not sleep on the mattress day-in and day-out. So, we purchased this Simmons Whitlock Firm Mattress and it's great! The only thing I would complain about is the release of the mattress "gases" that is quite pungent. However, it is my understanding that this is pretty normal. We went away for the weekend and opened our bedroom windows, turned on the ceiling fan, and aired everything out. . . it seems to be working, but the odor takes a while to dissolve. Otherwise, I am very happy with the product, the price, and the delivery!
