This 6-drawer cabinet was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. It was shipped to our home and arrived in perfect condition!
When I unboxed the chest I found no dents or visible scratches. Attached the wheels, using a #12 metric wrench, and set the upper cabinet on, done! Drawers slide easily ( metal slides, not ball bearings) and unit rolls easily. Although the metal is thin it seems like it will hold up for quite some time. The high gloss finish is nice and for the price I am VERY satisfied. The same combo chest sells for 200 bucks, plus 35 dollars for shipping elsewhere.
Honestly, this thing is pretty solid. There is one drawer that is a little sticky, but it's not bad. I use it to keep all my cycling tools in and it is absolutely perfect for that. Huge life improvement and I can always find what I need now. Highly recommend this. It's probably not a tool chest that will last you a lifetime, but those are super expensive... I'm 26 and live in an apartment in a san francisco and to have this shipped to my door, minimal work to put together, was pretty great. Serves its purpose.
Even though it was packed fairly well a few places on the tool cabinet were bent (especially were the wheels mount. Overall it serves the purpose it was bought for and I would purchase another one or more.
The small stackable tool box is fine. The big bottom part has a dent in it and is not made at strong. Good enough for us though.
Was delivered with a bent corner but was able to straighten it out did not effect it's function great looking tool chest for the money just not handled we'll for shipment. Too big to take back just for that
This is a nice tool chest if you only need something small and light weight. It is very thin metal and would not hold up to heavy weight of tools or equipment, maybe only lightweight house tools. Note the dimensions to see the size before you buy. The shipping was really fast and it was packed really well but it did already have several dents in the sides of the lower cabinet. We returned it immediately because it would not work for us.
When I received this item it was dented on the side. My husband returned it and bought a better one at another store.
Very thin metal cabinet. The drawers does not slide easily with weight .The bottom cabinet door falls off.
Site to store purchase that was very disappointing. The sheet metal is so thin a child could bend it by hand. Mine was missing several bolts and the top was dented, keeping the top chest from properly sitting on the bottom. My dad had a stack-on combo just like this that was built much stronger. I guess they just don't make them like they used to. I returned mine immediately.
