Turns out it is not as big as I had assumed, I should have payed attention to the measurements listed on the website. But I am happy with them especially because I got such a great deal. I am using them for toys in our family room. Each drawer has a designated type of toy. Like my sons wooden train track set fits great in one of the bottom drawers, and my daughters wooden dolls and clothing fit great in another big drawer. Marble games, blocks, matchbox cars, dress up clothes. You name it! I feel much better when we are organized. :)
I got these to use in my home office; they are just as advertised, and are sturdy enough to hold my office supplies, jewelry-making supplies, and those for my printer. Will order again if I need more!
Sometimes you just need a little bit more space to store things and this works great for me because I can stack them or have them side by side. They do come with rollers but I chose not to use them when stacking. I can label the drawers if needed. This size is smaller than some storage but it is fine for the space I have.
Everything is fine about the drawer units with the exception that the description on the website said that the unit was 3" wider than it actually is. This resulted in almost 20% less storage capability. Please note that the unit's width measurement should read 14 3/8" instead of 17 3/8". The units stack nicely even though the description didn't say they would.
Like I said; it serves the purpose.
