I am creating a pantry with 3 different chrome carts. This was for an alcove I have in the pantry. I love the look, the storage it provides, and it was very easy to put together. If I had to give 1 con on the cart, it was that it only came with wheels that lock, not stationary legs. It's a sturdier cart, and holds more weight, when you have stationary legs. Luckily, I don't have even close to the weight limit.
I bought two carts for the utility room to give me more shelving space. They work out great because they fit right into the two small spaces I had open for them. The length had to be 33" or less and most carts are 36" or larger. They were very simple to put to together, about 30 minutes altogether.
I liked that it wasnt very difficult to assemble due to me not being a handy person. Only thing I disliked was the delivery process of the delivery driver throwing my package over the gate .
Sad admission from me. There was scarcely any open counter space left since I had every conceivable kitchen aids covering that space...coffee maker, mixer, blender, food processor, bread maker, ice cream maker, and much more...get my drift? I use these appliances all the time and didn't want to put them behind closed doors. Well, this 5 level heavy-duty easy-to-put-together shelving has made my life functional and my kitchen once again looking like the cleaning crew came. The 5 shelving unit holds lots and since I chose the wheeled cart type, I roll it out from where it stands to retrieve bottom items. Love it! love it. Wish I'd been clever enough to buy a long time ago. Get one. Aaah. Get two, like I did.
I needed shelves for a certain area and lo and behold found exactly what I would be able to fit in that spot... looks great and it holds alot of stuff.. So glad I got it. Plus there is more room too.
Have gotten one for all my kids, and they love them. They are worth the cost, very sturdy, and help any kitchen cabinet deficit.
This is a nice smaller than average wire rack. The legs are thinner than the beefy versions which are generally longer and deeper. I bought the same brand single shelf unit with legs and added it to the top of this unit. Both work well together and are stable in my environment. With kids around hanging off of things they are probably best attached to the wall - either the kids or the shelves.
Needed book shelves that I could move when needed. Cart is not rated for heavy items but works for books. I did cut cardboard to fit shelf bottoms for a solid surface. Also received the unit two days after ordering. Very satisfied.
I've owned others, and while these are good and generally sturdy enough, I was disappointed that they had been mishandled and arrived bent. I'm using them anyway. Check the box carefully upon arrival. It wasn't until I was almost done putting them together that I discovered the bent shelf. Making it work for me anyhow.
The casters were not a sturdy as expected.
