The units were very easy to assemble, they are sturdy and look real sharp in my closet. I love the "Site to Store" feature - I saved the shipping and was very convenient to pick my order up at the store.
I purchased these to add shelving space to a small closet. They were very easy to assemble - about 30 minutes for one. They are crisp-looking and offer enough shelving space for towels, sheets, or clothing.
I bought this to go under my daughter's window in her room. I modified it for side-lying use simply by adding a few extra screws and placing the shelves into fixed positions. It was very easy to assemble and modify and it works great! It would also be great as designed. The bead board detailing is really nice and it is very sturdy. A good product for the money.
Nice quality for the price. "Beadboard" back panel is a nice touch. Extremely easy to assemble. Only draw-back is that the side panels have a lot of holes in them. I think this is to allow units to be secured together if stacking side-by-side. However, looks a bit unfinished if sides are in view.
Perfect fit for our closet. Very easy to assemble. I put all 5 units (various closits units) together by myself in 3 hours. I did use my husbands power driver instead of a hand screwdriver since I was not strong enough on my own. Do note that the unit does not look exactly as pictured. Holes are visible from the outside of the unit and the little decorative screw covers provided with the kit are pointless. However, these things are in our closet. . .so who cares? But if you plan on using these out in the open for something other than closet organization then be aware the look is not as clean as the picture shows.
I bought this because of its narrow size. It fits perfect for where I needed it. However, if either of the sides were not against a wall, I would not like it. It has holes that show on the outside walls.
Obviously It is made of veneered pressboard, like anything else for this price. The unit was of higher quality than the ones I looked at in stores locally. We actually used ours inside a room, instead of in a closet so we used pipe instead of the rods provided and it came out well. There are more visable holes than I'd like in the ends, but if it was really in a closet it wouldn't show. Assembly was easy, even the drawers. Be awawe, we bought a system and if you read what's included you don't get the upright kit p/n 507-471 even though it's in the picture.
Bought the cabinets to hold the kids backpacks. Very useful, but has a lot of holes on the outer sides for no reason. One in the middle is for attaching to another cabinet, but the rest have no purpose.
This Closits Single 2-Shelf Storage in White has a versatile design may be used alone or grouped horizontally. Two adjustable shelves let you customize the compartments to your needs. The only thing I did not like was the predrilled holes along the sides of the storage unit.
Edges were chipped. The packing of all the units was fabulous. However, many of the pieces had chips on the edges and the cardboard backing pieces in several instances were actuall ripped. We used heavy tape to fix it so we could keep moving on putting our closet system together. If this were not going to be in a closet I would advise against it because we did a lot of touch-ups w/while paint where things were chipped.
