We bought this shelf for my 1 year old daughters room to place her books on and we love it. It was easy to assemble, fits perfectly into the space we had and we love that it came with a bracket to secure it to the wall for safety. Looks wonderful with all her other white furniture as well.
This is much better made than another one I bought from Lows. We bought 2 off the kidskraft.com the white one was fine the cherry wood one had a crack in the wood. We are suppose to be getting a new one with in 7-10 days. I'm very happy with them both well worth the price.
This is a great little bookshelf that fits perfect in the spot we needed it for. It has a safety attachment to the wall for child's room and is a cute little piece.
This looks so cute in our daughters' room. It was smaller than I expected but I did not read the product details very carefully. My only complaint is that is seemed a bit expensive for what we got. But what we got works great.
The shelf is sturdier than I expected after reading one or two other reviews but the shelves themselves are much thinner than I would like. I appears to be holding up well under my daughters books so far, but is much smaller than I had hoped; even having drawn the measurements out on the wall where it would go. I think it should be a good deal cheaper. Around $65 would be an appropriate price point for this particular item in my opinion. We previously had a different shelf that was much sturdier and a bit cheaper but didn't come in white. I'm considering returning this, buying a different one, and just painting it white.
The book case itself is super cute and a nice size. However the smell of the product is terrible. Sad they don't make it with low VOC paints/products.
I was somewhat disappointed. For the price, I feel the product was not of good quality. It needed white caps/plugs/covers...something to cover the holes where the screws are. It's not very sturdy.
The sides of this bookcase are NOT wood - it's cardboard!!! The protective wrapping around the sides were taped to the cardboard, so when you pulled the tape off - it pulled off the top layer of painted white cardboard! Also, the shelves are not very deep - unit seems clumsy. For the money paid the entire bookcase should've been wood. Returned it immediately. Found a better quality bookcase, made completely of wood, for a cheaper price! Would NOT recommend this product to anyone.
This bookshelf is horribly made. First off, the shelves are not cut correctly. They fall off of the cheap, plastic shelf holders. It has cardboard sides that pop out because when you put books on it, it weighs down the whole bookshelf, making the bookshelf part pointless. If you plan on setting cutesie baby memorabilia and a couple board books in a nursery, then this will do. But if you plan on using this for your toddler, expect it to fall apart in 6 months or less. We are reading, reading, reading, and if you do this each night, it's going to fall apart.
I bought this bookshelf for my daughter's room and it fell apart within 5 months. The shelves are held up by plastic toothpicks and the sides are essentially cardboard. Don't buy this!!!
