This is such a cute bench storage (toybox)! Easy to put together and beautiful. I thought it would be more complicated to put together, but it was very simple with great instructions and even a helpline if needed (which I didn't), but it was nice to know there was one. I absolutely love this bench!
Purchased for my 2 years old grand daughter . Assy was easy and components were well made. The paint (white) ant sealant appear durable (only time will tell) She loves it and like sitting on top as well and putting in and taking out her toys. The design and support work well to prevent pinched or smashed fingers. Though both are possible is some areas. I do not belive a better design is available. If I would change any thing it would be to put locks on the wheels if kept on a smooth surface floor - a she easily pushed it around, or remove the wheels.
Exactly what I was looking for to store my daughter's toys. I can fit a lot of toys in it and I like the fact the lid will not slam down on her fingers. It was a little more than i was looking to spend but it was easy to put together and seems to be very durable and great quality. I would recommend this box!
This toy box is exactly what we were looking for. It was very easy to assemble and the natural finish was perfect. Good size, looks pretty durable (our little one is too young to use it yet). The product was shipped and arrived days ahead of the promised date. Would definitely recommend.
LOVE this toy box! Easy to put together, very sturdy, holds a lot of toys, and looks pretty too. I bought it to keep my grandchildren's toys in. Pretty enough to keep in my living room. Lid closes safely, so fingers don't get pinched. Expecting another granddaugter in March, so I know this toybox will get years of use.
I searched the web hoping to find a toy chest just like this. Years ago, we bought one for our own daughter and wanted to see if one like hers was still made. We found your website and were thrilled to see this toy chest that nearly matched hers completely. We had it shipped to our granddaughter in N. Carolina for her birthday. It is so well made, easy enough to put together and absolutely beautiful and blends in with the rest of the furniture so well. There's lots of room inside and the cover works as a comfortable seat for reading a book, coloring pictures or playing with puzzles. . Most important, she loves it! Thank you KidCraft for such a wonderful product!
Bought this for our granddaughter. Didn't take long to put together - easier with 2 people. We used Gorilla Glue on the joints to make sure it stayed together because it's not real wood. Impressed with the dowels and seems to be quality hardware. Nice slow closing lid to prevent falling on little fingers. We over-tightened the front screws creating a (barely) noticeable bulge in the front panel on both sides. I didn't pay close attention when ordering - I assumed it was real wood. Maybe wouldn't have ordered it had I realized that - but once we got it, I was too lazy to return it. It's good enough to hold her toys and hopefully it will hold up for a few years.
I purchased this product 4 months ago for my son's pile of toys. It has proven great so far. I can roll it on carpet with not much difficulty. The color cherry wood matches the bed my son has. The only thing is that it chips easily when my son hits it accidently with a plastic toy and cars... but its not too much. Also when my husband installed it the top would not close properly and it was scratching the top side as seen on uploaded pic. He just moved it to the side by putting pressure on it and now works good.
This is a beautiful Toy Chest. Appears to be sturdy. Will see how it holds up. Would be nice to serve as a hope chest after my granddaughter outgrows toys! Grandpa found it fairly easy to put together. Purchased this for our 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas.
The color is true to the site when ordering and has a nice finish to it. Seems sturdy(only had it for a few weeks) and like it will hold up in a child's or play room. I do like that the lid will not slam onto little fingers. My only complaint is that all of the screws are visible when the item is put together. I think they could have been on the inside or invisible and it would look like an even more expensive piece of furniture. Overall though, I am pleased with the product for the price and would recommend.
