Order this site to store and it arrived faster then they originally posted. Assembly was easy. My wife says I can break an anvil with a rubber hammer so if I got this assembled by myself it must have been real easy. Has lots of room in it. Quality and instructions are great. The toybox is dipped in the front so little ones can't pinch their fingers if they shut it with they hand in it. I would highly recommend this toybox.
This toy box definitely exceeded my husband and I's expectations. We purchased this mainly because of the size. We wanted the largest one we could find. However, we always wanted it to look more like a piece of furntiure that would look nice in our family room. The safety features are great as well! The quality of the wood is great and the hinge is so strong! Although we were hoping to spend $80-$100, this exact toy box was on several other sites for $200+ so we know we got a great deal. I would recommend this product to anyone and will be buying one for my nursery in white for the next baby!!
It was bigger than I imagined it was going to be. The safety hinge makes it impossible for the lid to slam shut. The only thing I diden't like was that the instructions were a little un clear and I had to re do a step like 3 times other than that it was pretty easy to put together.
Perfect size for a smaller space. I had a larger toy box, about 40 years old! Almost everything fit into this smaller one. The black is sleek smooth to the touch and the seat feels sturdy. I especially like that the lid holds in place automatically when fully open and there's a space for your fingers so they don't get pinched. Great find for a good price.
I bought 3 of these for my grandkids for Christmas and am very pleased! The quality is very good and they were very easy to put together. I love the way the lid is assembled so it can't hurt they're little fingers when closing it. They will be able to use this piece of furniture later in life and not just for toys. I would definitely purchase more KidKraft items in the future!
My husband is a WalMart associate and we found this toy chest online, our son needed one badly so we decided to give it a try, and this toy chest is amazing, my 1 year old absolutely loves it! It is easy for him to lift up the door and the henge allows it to stay up so it doesn't fall down on him. Great for the safety of your child. It holds 99.9% of his toys(he has loads of them) so it is pretty much the perfect size but not overly large. It is very beautiful and goes great with the Stork Craft Black Aspen furniture set we bought for his nursery. I would definitely recommend this toy chest, it was well worth the money. Truly a great investment.
easy to put together..i did it by myself in about a half hour..it wouldnt have taken that long if i wasnt holding my 3 month old part of the time :) love that the lid stays up and it doesnt shut the whole way, so no pinched fingers..the color of the wood matched my ash hardwood floors perfectly
I purchase this product for my mother who is my son's babysitter. The quality and construction of this product is EXCEPTIONAL!!! My mother has a beautiful home so wanted something that would be functional but also be an attractive addition to her decor and this definitely fit the bill. It is very attractive, extremely sturdy and safe. My son who is two is able to open it to get his own toys out and it is very safe with the safety lid feature so it doesn't fall on him or pinch his fingers. He also likes to get up and sit on it like a BIG BOY. I would highly recommend this to anyone and it is a good price compared to others we have looked at. A GREAT PRODUCT!!!
This product is very attractive for using in your living room, easy to put together. Has safety in mind for your litlte one, open in front so no caught fingers and lid will not close without help. But beware if your little one has a lot of toys there is not a lot of storage space inside, I would recommend this product as an addition to existing toy storage or if you are grandma but not as the only area you will have to store toys.
I bought this toy box about a month ago. My ( 4 year old)granddaughter comes to visit on weekends and i thought it would be good to store her toys. The hinge on the lid has already BROKE ( three times).Keep in mind this toy box is only used on weekends. The block of wood that connects the hinge to the lid pops off EVERYTIME she opens the lid.We have even tried gluing the block of wood and puting in more screws to hold the hinge in place. For the price it is VERY poorly designed...It is designed more to look good than to be used...Will NEVER buy a product from this company again..
