This is a great product except for the way the drawer assembles. If you don't assemble it VERY carefully and follow the instructions to the tee you will damage the drawer. Otherwise the assembly is very intuitive and simple. Sauder was very helpful and quick in shipping replacement parts. I've always purchased Sauder products for that reason.
Very pleased with the product although it did take my husband several hours to assemble it...he said it was worth it. Would definitely order another one (if I had room!)
The only problem I found that it came completely unassembled. I put it together by myself so it couldn't be too difficult, but once together it was just what I wanted.
My son-in-law put the Gourmet Kitchen Unit together without help while I was not at home. It would have been a bit easier had he had another person assisting. I was delighted when I saw the size and quality of the unit. The storage space both in the cabinet and drawer accommodates much more than I anticipated. The antique appearance fits right in with my decor. It is a beautiful accent to my kitchen and highly functional.
Sauder products are usually very good products to begin with, but I love this gourmet center. It is actually a bit bigger than the one I replaced and it looks so nice. It is very sturdy.
As an assemble yourself product it was a bit cumbersome to put together, but a nice quality product! The "wood" is darker than it looks in the photo. It is a nice antique/distressed look.
It contains alot of useable space The microwave unit fit and looked nice in center and gave space also for the toaster. The use of the upper cabinet was for cannisters which use to take up alot of space on kitchen counter. The bottom cabinet I used for baking, and snacks. The only bad side was it took over 2 hours to put together.
This product is more of a cream color as previously posted. As for the paint job, I believe it is supposed to have a distressed look, that is why another posting said it had a bad paint job. Took some time to put together, but the directions were very easy to follow. The doors are a bit of a pain!
Great product for the price. I wasn't sure what color to expect but cream is a better description of the color than antique white. Took a while to assemble but the end product is great. I wish it was a true white but it doesn't bother me enough to paint it.
This gourmet kitchen unit looked perfect for my kitchen by the picture on the website, but I was very desapointed when it arrived.It has a very poor paint job, that was never mensioned in the description of it.I could not excepted.It had to be returned.
