One we got the batteries in them they never took them off they loved them very cool toy good value for the money
My son kept playing with the baby monitors in his baby brother's room and got frustrated that he couldn't talk and hear at the same time. He could with these walkie talkies. They are simple enough for a 3yr old to use and work all throughout our house on different levels.
These are for my grandsons who live in a large 2-acre wooded area. They communicate with each other very easily without having to push buttons to "send" a message. Their ages are 3 & 5 years old!
I have spent 2 and 3 times as much apiece for headsets like this. Getting 2 of them for under $20 was great and they did the job of communication between backstage and the tech booth for a small community theatre. Some static when anyone stood near the rheostats, but otherwise it did the job.
These were put to immediate use. They were purchased for my 3 year old nephew, but were used by everyone in the family. They work much better than expected and provided a lot of fun.
Walkie talkie seems to work so far. Kids were amazed you could talk to each from other rooms.
I think it is a great item and is fun for my 4 year old and two year old twins but when it says its great for toddlers...believe it...they do not come close to fitting on my head at all!!
I GOT THIS FOR MY 4 YEAR OLD SON, AND IT DIDN'T WORK. I WILL HAVE TO RETURN IT FOR A NEW ONE AND SEE HOW IT WORKS. PLUS THE HEADSETS ARE REALLY SMALL, SO IF YOUR KID HAS A BIG HEAD, THEY MIGHT NOT FIT.
I was disappointed in the walkie talkies. They picked up radio and television transmissions. They had squels and the headset hurt your head when you wore it. It needed to have an ajustable band at the top for children with larger heads. I would not recommend it to anyone.
These were too small to fit on either of our boys' heads, and they are 2 and 4 years old. I'm disappointed because they like them and want to play with them but they won't stay on.
