My granddaughter was thrilled. As soon as she took it out of the box she was on her way to producing her own video. She can even share it with other members of the family. Great idea!
I bought this for my 2.5 year old for Christmas and it is a great toy. The quality is better than I would have imagined...especially the sound. I have not tried to transfer to the computer so I don't know how that will go. Overall very satisfied. The only drawback is that it doesn't take stills as well but I bought the camera knowing this.

We bought this for my 2.5 year old for Christmas. She loves it. It is very easy to operate, even at her age. The picture & sound quality are a lot better than I anticipated. She's dropped it countless of times already; it is definitely durable.
Buyers mistake, I thought I was ordering the camera not the video camera. But our daughter loves it just as much. It's taking some time for her to figure how to record and stop. But she's getting the hang of it. She loves being able to stand next to daddy and record like he does. Overall, even with my mix up, it was worth it.
