They work to about 50 feet. We had a little learning curve with the 5 year old to hold in the button when you talk. The button is a bow and you have to hold the middle of the bow, not the ends in order to hear clearly. Lots of static when not talking but that may be interference from other stuff.
I gave as christmas gift to 6 year old. loved it.
My toddler loves these, she pretends she's calling me or her dad on the phone and goes into the other room to talk. She won't put them down.
Great buy for the money. Some static in some home but overall nice fun gift.
Not bad for the price. There is a constant static noise at all times but works good in house from room to room or close outdoors. Overall decent or $16.
Ordered Princess Walkie Talkie but received Tinkerbelle instead. We kept them anyway since it was close to Christmas and our granddaughter loved them.
The overall play talkies are great for kids the only down fall of them is they take 4 AAA batteries i would rather 2 AA.
Received Tinkerbell instead of the Princess walkie talkies!!! Was unable to exchange them before 4 yr old's birthday. She tolerates Tinkerbell and once she learned how to hold the button down the whole time she talked, it was an okay gift.
