I used to be a big user of another popular usb ready pocket camera, but that changed when I got my hands on the Samsung W200! This camera is so much more worth the money, than the other non-waterproof camera I used. This camera also does full 1080p, and 720p which for me personally is a must have. This is the perfect vacation, everyday life camera. I also make a ton of YouTube videos with this camera and the video quality and sound is amazingly crystal clear. Samsung really hit the nail on the head with the W200.
I bought this camcorder elsewhere for $99.00 on a 3 day sale. I wrote a review before this one, and didn't get the rating option. I love the almost perfect quality that this camera does, along with the features it has. It can use a timer for photo stills to allow you time to pose for a pic. Overall it does what I need it for. I would pay the $159.00 listed here but was lucky to find it less during a 3 day sale. With all pocket HD camcorders you have to be aware of the sound quality it has during windy settings outside. Having tricks of the trade it is easy to fix that problem, and for the price if you're on a budget it's super easy to edit on windows movie maker. Enjoy!
I got this item as a christmas gift and I love it! I find it slow in low light conditions, which is almost normal for a digital camera without flash. My first experience at the beach I had an issue with sand in one of the buttons, but after cleaning the unit it is working great. I use it for everything. Colors and quality are great!
Got this to take pictures at the waterpark and it has impressed me and very happy with it. just taking time gettin use to being able to go under water with a camera
I have had this camera for one week. Just got back from a vacation in Costa Rica, where I used it in the pools, rivers and the ocean. The pictures and videos look great, both above and under water. It's very compact and easy to use. Only two minor issues - don't really like the pop-out USB port, would have preferred a short cable to connect to the PC. Also, the videos are not easily compatible with Mac (iPhoto), but the images are no trouble.
Got this as a Christmas gift. Video quality is pretty good for the price of the product. Haven't yet used in water, but this summer its going to be fun with the camera in the pool. Still have not used much, but the initial impression is good. The interface needs to be improved specially in the playback section.
This camcorder takes pictures and it's a camcorder. It is waterproof and shock proof. Perfect for our trip to Hawaii.

Its a good camera for the price but the description states 'touch screen lcd' when there is NOT a touch screen lcd.
